The Hotel when you arrive looks very four star but has a lot which lets it down.
In an all inclusive at this hotel I was not satisfied with the meals which were all buffet style and although most of the time the quality was good it lacked variety.
Lunch time buffet was far superior to evening meal, which although stated long trousers and shirts for men lots of men were wondering around in t shirts and shorts. No Manager met you at Dining Room and you were literally left to get on with it.
The local spirits were very short measures and if you wanted to buy a British whisky you paid a lot extra for this pleasure. Bottled water had to be bought as were iced coffees. You paid for your fridge if you wanted one which was £1. per day.
Toilets in this Hotel are not marked clearly and there do not seem to be enough to accommodate the amount of people this Hotel takes and the ones in the Fitness Area are really not good at all.
The Entertainment is not good and consists a lot of the time of the Innovation Club providing this.
The good points about this Hotel is that it is very nicely set out has two lovely outdoor swimming pools with an abundance of sunbeds - no need to put your towel out.
It is close to a very quite beach area again with sunbeds provided.
The beds are very comfortable and the maid service is excellent. The waitresses are very friendly and the Night Porter was an excellent chap.

Our family of 9 have travelled to all areas of the world to find the perfect holiday. After reading the reviews on this hotel we where expecting just another hotel full of empty promises.
I can assure you this hotel will meet up to your expectations. The food was excellent; always loads of choice, all fresh and hot, there is even a kids menu with pizza, fish fingers, burgers. The adults loved the kids food to.
The pools are as warm as a bath, with loads of space around the pools for sunbathing. We went when the hotel was full and we still did not have to fight for sunbeds or get up at 5am to put the towels out.
The beer (draught Carlsberg), staff and entertainment were top quality with a great kids club right by the pool, so they are not to far from your sight.
You can even experience free scuba diving in the pool if you want to try your hand and can get diving qualification with a PADI certificate if you would like to.
Do yourself a favour - if you want a low cost, value for money, guaranteed sunshine holiday this is the best choice we have found in 15 holidays worth of searching.
Note: We have booked up for next August as well which really says it all.

First time in Cyprus and we had a fantastic time. Hotel is good, lots of space to catch the sun. Animation team were first class and made us all feel as though we had known them for years, very hard working and very friendly. Lots of daytime fun and games.
Food was o.k. We always found something to eat that we liked and you could eat all day.
Good selection of drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic on the all inclusive.
Hotel is clean and tidy. Rooms are a bit small but as we didn't spend too much time in there this was not a problem. Hotel has a good gym, TV room, shop, beauty salon and a good games room for the kids.
Two good pools, one that is great for the little ones as it is shallow and the main pool where all the daytime fun can be found.
Overall we can not complain, what you must remember is that this is a foreign country where they do things differently, put that aside and you will have a great time. I can recommend this hotel, I know some people have rated it low but a lot have rated it high. Try it and you will have a good time, we did.

Only downside to this hotel is that it is a long way from anywhere, in between Coral Bay and Paphos harbour, hire car is essential.
Good pools, food ok, travelled as a group with 7 adults, 1 child, and 1 infant, everybody enjoyed themselves, entertainment ok, beer drinkable, many eastern European staff that didn’t smile a lot, nice hotel which is being upgraded to 5 stars this year so I’m told.

We stayed here for just a weekend on an all inclusive basis.
It was lovely and relaxing with a choice of 2 pools. Unfortunately, only one pool had a bar and food nearby so we spent our time by this one.
Our 2 sons aged 7 and 2 loved the pool, especially our older who spent a lot of time getting us all drinks at the bar and feeling very grown up!!
The room, although a little jaded and slightly on the small side for a family of 4, was clean with a small balcony overlooking the sea and one of the pools. Beware of the cots, they are rather old, and on our last morning, the side fell down while our son was still in it and he fell onto the very hard floor!
Fortunately, other than a bit of a red lump on this forehead, he was okay. The receptionist listened when we explained what had happened but didn't seem to be overly concerned.
However, the staff were friendly and helpful, especially at meal times when we required a highchair. The food was standard with basic English breakfast, pastries and breads and a hot and cold selection at both lunch and dinner.
The only disappointment was that the hotel was holding a wedding exhibition for the whole weekend which meant that all guests could only use the pool side restaurant rather than the plusher restaurant off the foyer. I don't know if this affected the food or not. It would have been nice to have had some choice rather than seeing the same interior for each and every meal.
We didn't use the kids club, although we would for our oldest son if we returned, but the animation team regularly organised events around the main pool for everyone. We were asked to join in but declined and were never pressured.
All in all a pleasant, relaxing break away which was exactly what we wanted.

Well, just returned from Laura Beach near Paphos, And can say that myself, wife and son aged 9 had a good time. For anyone going to this hotel, there is nothing to fear.
There are no hidden nasties waiting to spring up on you when you get there. All in all, I reckon you will have a great time. However as with all things, there are always downsides.
Don’t get me wrong the hotel is great, but these were my little whinges.
The staff were very split down the middle. Some friendly, and some plain ignorant. Mostly eastern european citizens.
The food is very bland and very repetitive, but isn’t unbearable.
Housekeeping leaves a lot to be desired. in two weeks our room floor was swept once. my wife once had to get a brush and sweep it herself.
The entertainment was sad. there is something every night. but the French compare (well I think he was French) is so repetitive and boring. Using the same script, songs, and dances every night that there was no atmosphere. I feel after the first week I could have done his job better.
The hotel is also a mixed hotel with polish, Bulgarian, Russian, French, and German. we had a Russian boxing team stay there whilst we were there!!
Anyway, cheer up! It isn’t all doom and gloom! There was a lot of good points too.
There are two really large pools as well as a man made beach. Both pools have beach bars that serve Pepsi until it comes outta yer ears.
I recommend the upper pool, its less busy and you get a bit more peace and quiet.
It is a well maintained hotel too, and first impressions are really good. The TV isn’t bad either. There’s a channel called LTV which shows nonstop films in your room for free. They are all well known films too.
Well I cannot think of anymore to say. I promise you will have a good holiday and come back relaxed. We did.

My girlfriend and I had the best time at this hotel. Everything was perfect.
The food was fantastic. Always a nice selection to choose from, if you didn't fancy anything you could always eat from the children’s menu! Hardly any queues for food, if any it was for the ice cream or cheese and crackers.
There are 2 swimming pools. The main one you had music and the fantastic animation team with games and activities you could take part in. The other a more quiet pool with a bar situated in the pool, this one was the best for us.
The rooms were all you needed which had recently been refurbished. A bed, table and chairs which never got used, bathroom and a wardrobe. Air con was silent and cold, the mini bar made more noise but this got unplugged.
The staff were friendly, helpful and cheerful except one woman who seemed like she wanted to be somewhere else.
Entertainment was good, different show every night, and also bingo which got a bit boring. Some of the shows were rubbish; others were great all depends on what you fancy.
We would definitely go back to Laura Beach in the future, everything was perfect. The only bad thing was the showerhead, which liked to shower the curtain and the women who wanted to be at home.

Really disappointing and not at all value for money.
Although not peak season queues for food were often long. Food is okay and lots of different dishes but I'd agree with other reviewers - not remotely 4 star quality.
Part way thru the holiday we were relocated to the lunch area for all meals so that a wedding exhibition could take over the restaurant area (so no point packing all those nice evening clothes and long trousers for men - dress code was 'relaxed' when we were relocated). So not 4 star environment either.
Staff were mainly - though not entirely - unhelpful and unfriendly.
Rooms were clean and comfortable.
Lots and lots of weddings on - feels more like being a gatecrasher than on holiday.
Entertainment is very amateur and though it seems to be pitched at children was sometimes too crude for them.
Wouldn't recommend it .

Our tour operator changed our accommodation at the last minute to the Luca Laura due to original hotel being oversold.
The hotel itself is ok, recently had a refurbishment, however not all the rooms have been done. We had a room that was facing the road, but it had been refurbished. Was by no means the lap of luxury, and really very basic for a 4 star hotel, but was clean, with a good bathroom.
From what I gathered, a majority of sea view rooms haven’t been refurbished.
2 very good sized swimming pools, with plenty of sun loungers, 2 pool bars.
6km from both Paphos and coral bay, only 10 minutes by bus. All bus journeys only 80cents per trip, good value.
Food was ok but not what you would expect from a 4 star hotel. All buffet style and mass catered. There was always a good choice but sometimes you didn’t know what the choices were!
Breakfast was poor, very little fruit on offer. Didn’t really have lunch so can’t comment on that. Wine and beer is self serve from pumps, wine ok after a few! Must say food could've been better but we didn’t starve.
All in all we had a good holiday, probably wouldn’t be my first hotel to return to as in my opinion is more of a 3 star than 4 star.

The hotel was fantastic, food great, loads of choice, especially since our party consisted of people with food allergies and vegetarians.
Lots of great entertainment for all ages. Facilities were great lots for the kids to do. Lots of trips out and about. Everywhere was very clean.
All inclusive facilities were worth the money.

Myself and my boyfriend stayed here in September 2005 and it was the best holiday I have ever had. There were a few tiny things that upset us but these were sorted out and managed straight away.
Staff
All of the staff are fantastic, they could not have been more helpful to us both, we had never travelled on our own before and the staff and people could not have been more helpful if they tried. Especially Stephan, he worked his little socks off all day, and night sometimes. The only bad thing I have to say about the staff is that they are very underpaid for the job they do and the **** they have to put up with. The management are a very ignorant lot but the staff who work for him are fantastic.
Animation Team
As we are a young couple up for a laugh we got involved in most of the activities that were on offer, I even won the croquet one day and was made to get up on stage that evening to collect my certificate for doing so. And typically the night I got up to collect my certificate was the night Memo decided to introduce the new Club dance to My Number one by Helena , I don’t know if they still do that but I wouldn’t hesitate to go back to find out.
The Animation team worked there socks off from 10 in the morning to midnight. And never once did i see an unhappy face.
The evening entertainment was a real hoot always trying to get the guests involved the Animation team would run round like loonys trying to collect people for the evenings activities, I usually shrunk back in my seat but my boyfriend was always on stage.
The one time I did take part I was told that the show was not embarrassing as it was a game of Mr and Mrs so I thought why not, when I got on stage I was completely wrong it was so much fun though as the activities we had to do onstage gave everyone a good laugh, for example my boyfriend and I had to get under a sheet and swap clothes and we accrued points for how many of each others clothes we had on.
It was fantastic and I know that the animation team are constantly changing but while I was there we had the lovely Petra, the gorgeous Naomi, the incredibly sexy memo (we also made friends with a woman, who absolutely adored memo and found any excuse to get next to him) we also had martha and martina.
Room
Was lovely constantly kept clean and tidy by the maids and spacious and airy, we didn’t pay for a sea view room but got one which was lovely in the morning.
Food
One word delicious
Overall a ten out of ten, I have been on many holidays with parents etc but this has been by far the best.

I read lots of reviews before we went and was nervous as we were going All Inclusive for the 1st time (normally we go self catering as my husband is a fussy eater).
We had nothing to worry about!
All meals had such a variety that we ate (and drank) far too much! He resorted to the children’s menu only once! I found that the lunches were the best meals. We only had the one restaurant open so not sure if the other would have been a la carte. Drinks were plentiful!
The hotel was very clean and the staff friendly.
We preferred the top pool as we didn't want to get involved with the activities and liked the pool bar and jacuzzi.
We loved the little beach although rocky and it was great for snorkelling. There were so many sunbeds available both on the beach and the pool that we had a choice of positions every day. We particularly liked the towel service.
The only downside was that as non smokers we found it impossible to go anywhere near the main bar at night due to the cigarette smoke. This also meant we missed the indoor entertainment and were limited to the outside bar amongst the families!
For this reason we were not impressed with Coral Beach and found it dirty and littered with cigarette ends everywhere.
We would love to go to the hotel again but will stick to the Ayia Napa and Protaras side due to the beaches.
