Being from Greek Orgin Great Island but ,The staff was not very help full . Had to carry up our own luggage 6 flights of steps to our room when we check in / same when we check out no bellman to help. When you ask a question or request to the front desk they never look at you directly in the face and they pretend that they were doing somthing else, it was like they did care. Rooms is very rustic ,linen was from the 60s not a 4star as stated would rate it as a 2-2.5 star . Beware that the shuttle buse that run from... more
Management response from parosagnanti

Dear Sir and Madam We would like to state some facts about our hotel and your stay that you may have overlooked while reviewing. Our hotel's maximum number of staircases is three. Additionally, one can avoid walking up most stairs, by simply taking the elevator, as you had done, on the night of your arrival. Bear in mind that you arrived late at night, seven minutes after midnight. The only department of our hotel open 24/7 by default is the reception. After checking in, you took the elevator with the receptionist, walked around the building and then went up 7 steps to your room. In check out, you did not ask us for any help with the luggage, which we would be very happy to offer, as we do with every guest who asks. Hotel Paros Agnanti is a 4* hotel and we uphold a high standard of service in all departments. When there are two employees on duty at the front desk, the one talking to you will look at you, while the other one will attend to other matters. Also, please note that the first building of our hotel complex was build in 1998 while the building in which your room was located was built in 2002. The linen used in rooms is one year old at most, is in top condition as we renew them every year and is changed every second day for each guest. However if you have required daily changes you could have told us so and we would be happy to provide them. Furthermore, all our rooms have new orthopaedic mattresses and are being cleaned every day. There was never a need for deadbolts neither in our hotel, nor on the island of Paros in general, due to the low crime rates. The Hotel is however protected by alarms, security cameras and by a night guard who is on duty all night long. The shuttle bus you mention has never ran late and as you were told on the day you called us to complain about its delay, the mini bus came on time to the designated area, picked up other guests and returned to the hotel on time. The reason you missed it and waited for 45 minutes is that you were on the wrong spot, as the front desk employees told you on the phone. We even sent the mini bus again, to look for you, and still the driver could not find you, because you were not on the correct meeting point. We inform all of our guests upon arrival, and we give out printed timetables for our transfer service including the meeting points. The only condition to catch the mini-bus is to be in-place (at the Post-office near by the port) and on time. On the beach towels policy, the 5 euro deposit, which is refunded upon towel return, is a standard practice among many hotels of all categories. The beach in front of the Hotel is public and we have never stated anywhere that we own a beach. Therefore, sun beds and umbrellas on the beach are not property of the Hotel; they belong to a third party businessman that has no relevance what so ever with us.

Amazing views, Great Service
Hotel Agnanti is amazing. I stayed there for two weeks and could not be happier. I was greeted by friendly faces, and throughout my stay the staff was more than willing to accommodate. The young lady at the front desk gave us great information about the best beaches and spots on the island. I really liked the decor of my room. It was a mix between old world charm and modern appeal. The room was extremely clean and several amenities (hair drier, dvd player, safe) were provided free of charge. The room I stayed in had a huge... more
Good hotel
The location of this hotel is very good, just in front of a beautiful bay, with all the services you might require. The pool area (big and very nice) and has a small bar. The rooms are nicely decorated and very spacious. Actually they are like small departments with a terrace. The view from the hotel is fantastic. On the beach front you have a couple of small restaurants so you have an additional alternative to the hotel restaurant which is quite good any way, highly recommendable for dinner (although the menu is reduced, the... more
A lovely oasis
My husband and I stayed at this little hotel in May as a belated 25th anniversary trip. The first thing that struck me as we left our bus was the way the receptionist came out to the bus to greet us. I thought that was very classy. It was a VERY hot day when we arrived. She gave us all the information and then took us to our room. She opened the door with the key and I nearly RAN to the balcony which was larger than I expected and which also overlooked the sea. I was quite taken with the way the hotel had gone to great... more
Great Hotel Great Staff
We stayed at the hotel Agnanti 3 times last year, the staff are very welcoming. Rooms with a spectacular view over the bay watching the ferries coming in and out at all times. The hotel is very quite it has a lovely swimming pool. It is located off one of the cleanist beaches i have been on. In fact the hotel and people of Paros spurred us to buying a house there. The hotel has lost 2 guests but gained 2 friends that will be frequenting the restaurant and visiting the staff during our stay on our new island and our new home.
Nice place in Paros
This is one of the nicer hotels in Paros. The room we had was more like a suite with jacuzzi/shower, king bed and a balcony overlooking the bay. The restaurant looked nice but we didn't eat there. The pool area was relaxing as well. The one knock on the place is that it is a decent cab ride into town. There is a water taxi that brings you in during the day but that stops by 6 (in september anyway). The hotel has a shuttle service that only picked you up in town and but only at two different times during the night with the latest being... more
Finally, a big room
My husband and I spent 3 nights at this hotel on a visit to 4 islands in the Cyclades. Our room was a lovely suprise - very large, and with two huge balconies overlooking the port. One of the chairs on the balcony was broken and, on request, it was replaced within minutes. The room was decorated with lots of nice little touches like a hatstand and decorative ornaments. The bathroom was on the small side but as far as toiletries etc. we wanted for nothing. I notice a previous reviewer said the bed in their room wasn't too comfortable and... more
Good Hotel, Great Beach
Stayed there 3 nights. Nice room, very clean, did not have any of the problems noted by other reviews, but true the bed is not very comfortable, but sleep was ok. Very nice to eat breakfast outside overlooking the paros bay. Beach is a 2 minute walk, crystal clear waters and kept very clean(one of the best beach we saw on our Cyclades Trip). Did not use the swimming pool. Only "bad" point is that it is isolated from the main town and the hotel only has three shuttles per day (10:15, 19:15 and 21:15). The shuttle only has 8 seats... more
Disappointment
We had planned our return to the Greek Islands 12 months in advance. This time we were travelling with good friends who were unable to join us on our trip 6 years ago due to family tragedy, so this was going to be very special! After a great experience on the island of Mykonos we arrived in Paros at the Agnanti Hotel to be very disappointed with the level of accommodation we given. This was advertised as a 4 Star hotel and our room (number 28) was lucky to pass for a 2 Star rating. My husband (6' 3") hung off the bottom of the bed,... more
Nicely appointed Hotel Overlooking the Bay
Paros is a quiter Island than some of the other ones and was a nice change for us. We rented a car for 2 days (EUR$25/day incl everything) allowing us to explore and go into town from this hotel. It was about a 5-10 minute drive into town. Other than that the Hotel had a shuttle going in 3 times per day 1 in the morning and two times in the evening. The room we had was very unique. It was on the second storey with with two balconies and a 3 way view. Uniquely decorated and quite comfortable. The Hotel lobby was quite expansive and again... more
