Could not be more right
Great find in Bath. Very central with parking, tucked away in the heart of the shops almost next door to the roman baths and just off the main road for bars and restaurants! Clean, nicely furnished rooms with comfy beds and good bathrooms - great showers and hearty breakfast. Only complaint would be the noisy early morning delivery to the pub opposite which woke me up but quick to fall back to sleep. Would recommend this for a short stay to anyone.
Cute Boutique Hotel, with a warm welcome
We had our first wedding anniversary here last weekend and they phoned me, as requested, two days before our arrival to see what I had decided I wanted to welcome my wife with and surprised her with the most beautiful red rose on the bed. Great room number 14, up an iron spiral staircase to a very characterful room. Great LCD screen, but toilets up more stairs needs a bit of modernising. The noise on Saturday night was loud, but shutting the double-glazed window helped - I'm sure it's not the only hotel in the centre of town with... more
Ten out of Ten!!!!
I stayed for two night at this hotel on business and and really enjoyed my stay. The hotel has a great location right in the centre of Bath, yet quitley tucked away. The hotel provides reserved parking in Charlotte car park nearby which was appreciated as parking can be dificult in Bath. My room was very nicely furnished and had a great LCD TV in the room with every channel under the sun. Great when you are bored in new city. I found the staff to be very helpful whenever I had a request. There is noise from seagulls, but they are... more
Loved the Harington's Hotel Apartment
I took my mother on a three night break and stayed at the Harington's Hotel Apartment. I discovered the apartment after browsing on their website. The apartment is nice and spacious and has all the amenties to hand that you need. It has a large master-bedroom (with either a double or twin beds) with lots of wardrobe space, full kitchen and a lovely outside patio area. There is asecond bedroom with bunk beds if you have kids. The location is excellent for sight seeing and for shopping - It is literally 2-3 minutes walk away. Breakfast... more
Perfect Location
Stayed at the Harrington's as the first stop of a three week family vacation. (Also stayed at The Windermere in London, Luccombe Hall in Shanklin & Hollmann in Vienna) Did not want to stay in an American chain style hotel on this trip, to mixed results, but Harrington's was a hit. My wife and I stayed in one room, and our children in a second. The hotel is perfectly situated on a quiet street within very easy walking distance of all the Bath highlights. The breakfast was very good and the staff friendly and helpful. We spent quite a... more
Beautiful Contemporary Hotel
We loved our stay here. It was everything we wanted for our few days. It has a brilliant location right in the centre of Bath, yet nicely tucked away. We stayed in a room at the back of the hotel and did not find noise any problem. The hotel seems to have been recently renovated, all the public areas were very attractive,as was our room. While the hotel is not the biggest in the world it does have a great feel about it. A couple of other guests we talked with in the bar said the same. The breakfast was first calss, served by happy... more
Hated it!
I hate these kind of hotels. The owners seem odd. The bathrooms were terrible, Although they call it a 'Hotel', it's not. It's actually a glorified guest house and they, in my opinion should not be sold as hotel's when they are quite obviously not. This 'Guest house' has many flights of stairs and no lift, as you would have in a hotel. It closes up and you're left to fend for yourself during the night - no services out of hours, which you would have at hotel. Also, this is not the place to go if you have children or need a good nights... more
Management response from A TripAdvisor Member

When I first saw this review I was shocked. I could not understand the comments being made. Later I found out it had been writen by an ex member of staff who we had to dismissed from their position with us. Myself, my partner and the team work very hard here at Harington's to ensure that all our guests enjoy their stay with us. It genuinly hurts us if we see any bad comments. Please dont let this malicious review put you off Harington's. Judge us by the general trend of reviews we recieve from all our happy guests. This review is so over the top I hope people can tell it is not in keeping with the standard of the hotel. Bye the way we are a hotel, we are graded as a hotel, offer all the facilities of a hotel. But yes we are a small hotel. We see this as an advantage not a disadvantage. I hope you will agree should you decide to stay with us. Thanks for listening.

Loved it!!
Stayed here for the weekend with my girlfriend. We loved this hotel. It had a really relaxed atmosphere. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were great, and the girlfriend loved the bar area. The hotel has a great location on a cobbled street in the centre of the city. They even catered for my girlfriens vegetarian requests at breakfast. All in all a great hotel in a great town. I will recommend it to my friends and family.
Friendly and comfortable
We found the hotel friendly, clean, not too fussy and fairly stylishly decorated. The breakfast was delicious, although it would have been perfect if they used Heinz sauces. Also the bed was a little soft. Apart from this it was lovely.
Fantastic Apartment
We booked the apartment after seeing it on the hotel website. We are a family of four and we thought it would give us some more room. What a good decision. The apartment has a large double bedroom, a childerns room with bunk beds, a lovely large lounge, kitchen and wait for it a private patio area the size of a football pitch. Everything was modern and refreshing. The kids though they had gone to heaven with the large lcd tv in the lounge. The real clincher was the fact we could have breakfast (which was fantastic) in the hotel, which is... more
