Elia Latchi Holiday Village

We got on a minibus to take us to Elia holiday village.
We got there late into the night so we didn’t know what to expect when we woke up in the morning. But when we did wake up we were VERY pleasantly surprised. The gardens are beautiful and big. The 2 pools are also very nice but the smaller pool is very deep. The rooms are lovely, we had a 1 bed roomed apartment with sea view. We had a small balcony which was lovely to sit on and read or whatever you want to do.
The rooms are plenty big enough and the bathroom was clean. We booked bed and breakfast and then upgraded to half board (very cheaply) as the food was very good. I would recommend booking self catering or b and b then upgrading as it is much cheaper. There were cats roaming around the tables but didn't bother us too much. The restaurant had beautiful views over the harbour.
The beach is lovely. And I would recommend hiring a car and going into the mountains, they are all around. We went into a small village and spotted an embroidery for sale sign. And the owners or the house invited us in and showed us around their house! Although we didn’t speak Greek and they didn’t speak much English we were there for a good hr!
If you like snorkelling go to the baths of Aphrodite there is a restaurant and to the left of that there are steep steps down to a beautiful bay. If you go to the left beach there are beautiful clear waters which is lovely and peaceful. I would recommend this holiday village to anyone it really is perfect.
