" Got back from the Arsinoe Beach Hotel... "

Got back from the Arsinoe Beach Hotel last Wednesday. It was a fantastic hotel in a great resort. After reading some reviews on websites, my girlfriend and I were a little worried. When we arrived at the hotel we knew we had made the right choice, our first thought was 'this place is nice'.
The hotel is just across the road from the beach where there are water sports and sunbeds etc. The tourist area is a short taxi ride away and the city centre is about 15 minute bus ride, which costs 75 Cent. There are lots of bars restaurants and gift shops within a minutes walk of the hotel so overall the location was excellent.
The food was of a high standard, buffet style, with lots of lovely salads, Greek dishes and international dishes. For the second week we ate out alot. Rebecca’s restaurant does lovely Greek food. There is a nice Chinese called the Long Men about five minutes from the hotel. Opposite the Long Men there is a lovely Italian. Breakfast was also buffet style with lovely full English, continental, cereal etc.
The main pool area was brilliant. We were always able to get a bed and the whole are was really clean and tidy and makes for an enjoyable day relaxing by the pool.
At the bar Happy hour was half 9 till 10 with half price cocktails and spirits. The staff are brilliant. Yanis, George, Alex and others who’s name I don’t know. They are all really friendly, funny and really made the holiday enjoyable. The karaoke night was good, also the Greek dancing night was really good too.
We booked with Thomas cook and for the two of us half board we paid £920, which was a bargain!! I would definitely recommend this hotel. In the past I have stayed in 5 star hotels, although the Arsinoe is a three star it is certainly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in and I will probably return there again one year.
If you are considering going to Limassol, You wont be disappointed with The Arsinoe.

" Me and my boyfriend are in our early... "

Me and my boyfriend are in our early 20's and this was our first holiday away together.
We wanted to go somewhere where there was a party atmosphere but could also provide something for everyone - and this sums limassol up! The Arsinoe was a quality hotel! The staff were so friendly and made a point of getting to know your name and said hello and had a quick chat every time they saw you. The food was excellent and there was no problem getting seated at dinner no matter what time you went down. They had a happy hour at the bar between 9-10 so after dinner you could have cheep cocktails to get you in the mood for the night ahead!! Although we were a young couple looking for a lively hotel - there was families there and there was a variety of nationalities at the hotel and everyone got along! The hotel provided enough entertainment to stay in it for the night if you didn’t fancy heading into town.
The only draw back with the hotel is the distance from the main town of limassol - it’s not a major problem as taxis are frequent and cheap and it is possible to walk (about 20mins). The other drawback is that the beach wasn’t the best as its not very wide but that applies to all of limassol and not just to the beach outside the hotel.
All in all the Arsinoe was a brilliant hotel and I would definitely recommend it!

The hotel was 8 miles from the centre but was so easy on the bus, so who ever you travel with and they say 15mins to Limmos town its 15mins on the bus not walking. the staff were very friendly. Never had a problem with getting a sun bed would go there again, Tina. <br>
