The Cotton House Hotel
An exclusive, sympathetically renovated plantation house with a contemporary feel, on the secluded, private island of Mustique. This delightful property has welcomed royalty and rock stars alike. In 1968 owner, Colin Tennant opened the hotel with a view to sharing the beautiful island with others. Spread over a 13-acre area of land, the development has been carefully constructed in a contemporary West Indies style, with new buildings mixing seamlessly with original plantation buildings. It has a freshwater swimming pool, water sports including Sunfish sailing, snorkelling, windsurfing, scuba-diving (local charge), health spa with a range of treatments. Tennis can also be arranged (local charge). It has 20 Oliver Messel-designed rooms on 2 floors in various buildings with no lifts. All with balcony/terrace, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, flat-screen TV with DVD/CD player, mini-bar, in-room safe, dressing room, marble baths, bathrobe and free unpacking and pressing service on arrival.
