Belvedere Hotel

This place is OK - its not the Ritz - yes its dated, looks a bit tired in places but as a budget weekend away its fine. Its in a great location, very near to the town which is only 5 minutes away - getting back takes effort as the hills in Bournemouth are killers! My partner and I paid £108 total for 2 nights b&b which we were happy with, plus for that we got a few goes in the hotels pool and fairly decent food. My husband and I have just returned from a few days' break at the Belvedere. We were not disappointed although the room was a bit "old-fashioned". However we were happy with the cleanliness and service - the breakfast service was first class.

We stayed here with our two little children and had a great time. The fabric of the hotel is dated, and the fixtures and fittings are showing some wear - but it was very clean and warm. The staff were really friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The food was really good especially our evening meal. This is a very convenient location for the front, and is a really good value place to stay. Ignore the fabric of the building itself - the Belvedere's strength is in its really warm and helpful staff.

One of the best Hotels in Bournemouth, Only disappointing thing is they will not take 1 night stay over a weekend. BELVEDERE - SORT IT OUT!

Spent 2 nights here 12 and 13 Feb 2005. Took my wife for a "Valentines" special" This place conforms to the description posted on this site as "Horribly Misleading, Aug 13 2004". It is. It is dire. Don't stay here. be warned. It is dreadful. My Mrs is still weeping with disappointment.

At £98 for a double room for one night, we thought we had booked a fairly nice place, and indeed, the reception/restaurant area looked ok. However, things started looking worrying when the receptionist announced we were booked into "the Grosvenor side", where they are currently in the process of merging with the hotel next door. No mention had been made of this when we booked. Although the decor was tired in places and somewhat old-fashioned, the overall experience during our 2 night short break in February 2004 was good. The food was very good and staff helpful and friendly. We were also impressed with the hotel's cleanliness.

I spent two nights at this hotel in September 2003 during a holiday in England. I had booked it over the internet and checked trip advisor for reviews. I found the owner and staff very friendly and the atmosphere pleasant. The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel is well situated and reasonably priced. The restaurant food was very good and also priced reasonably. I would stay there again if I came to Bournemouth.

great hotel, very spacious, staff are really friendly and helpful, weekend entertainment in bar, really relaxing, after using several hotels in bournmouth we discovered the belvedere, now we always use this one.

I enjoyed my stay at the Belvedere hotel and I found all their staff very kind and helpful. They made us all feel very welcome an the receptionists could not do enough for us. The food is delicious and I sent my compliments to he Chef. I will recommend their hotel to all my friends.
