La Quinta Beach Resort

I have been a timeshare owner for some time now and have made many exchanges in that period of time. You expect a certain caliber of resort when you make an exchange. This being said, when I walked in to my 1 bedroom unit I was enormously disappointed. The bedroom was big enough to fit the bed and a desk with a 19" tv with about 12 sq/ft of room to move around and change. Basically, it looks like a hotel room that was converted into a 1 bedroom. We stayed for 3 weeks in Feb. and March in a one bed room unit in phase 2 (room 2104). This was out 2nd stay at La Quinta and our 10th visit to Aruba. Overall, it is a great place to spend a relaxing vacation. Good Points: Great, uncrowded location on Eagle Beach. Two pools, not crowded. Good service at the pool-side bar. On the bus line if you don't rent a car. The room was clean and in good condition. Other Points: Small with few amenities (no gym, no restaurant, no casino, etc.). La Quinta was a very clean and quiet resort. If you are looking for excitement or people it is not the place for you. We had a great time and loved Aruba and want to go back, but would choose a place with a little more activity. We found ourselves goint to the high rise section at night. Very disappointed that there was not even a little convienent store on the property. The people at the front desk were not very helpful and I always felt that they didn't understand English.

Stayed at La Quinta last christmas and we are going back again this christmas. We are going to buy these two weeks. Best vacation we ever had. People there are great. Can't see going anywhere else for vacation.

My first time staying in Aruba and La Quinta was this past week. I should first say that I loved Aruba and the resort was great. The entire staff was friendly and helpful and they kept their property looking very nice. It's also a great asset to have a rental car company on site!

My wife and I purchased our 1 bedroom unit over ten years ago. Initially we purchased with the mind set of buying at a low price and taking advantage of being able to exchange to other resort island. Needless, to say we exchanged our unit for other island destinations, but were always comparing that location with LaQuinta. We found that we enjoyed our unit much more then the other locations. We LOVED staying at La Quinta! The pool is AWESOME! We are going back in Sept and can't hardly wait....

We stayed at this resort and had a wonderful time -- people were wonderful -- we stayed in the front part and met a bunch of people. We had a couple of potluck dinners. Right across the street from the beach -- never had any problems with a crowded beach.........

We bought our unit on line from a Real Estate company. So we did not know what to expect when we arrived. It was Wonderful! A nice quite haven. We purchased a 1 bedroom unit. The pool was just steps from our door in a quint courtyard. We have week 19 and it was very quite when we were there. The bus stop is right out front so no rental car is needed. We think we got a GREAT price for this timeshare.

I stay at Laquinta every year in october. I absolutley love it .It's peaceful . the people are fantastic ,Iwouldn't stay anywhere else.
