Sway Manor Hotel & Restaurant

Stayed at Sway Manor, prior to moving into a new house in the village. Only discovered Sway on a previous holiday where we found Sway Manor Hotel because of its web site providing dog-friendly accommodation. What a find! Superb location in the heart of a village with a fantastic garden, even has its own heated pool, outdoors so summer time only! Our room was fine, good size and having a lift was a boon. It was very refreshing to stay somewhere classically English, that combines unpretentious charm with great food and service. We'll definitely be back.

Long weekend in spring, gin and tonics in the super gardens, lovely english classic food in friendly atmosphere. Comfortable room, slept like a log. Day spent exploring the New Forest.

Superior room. Standard size uncomfortable bed,1 tired blanket no duvet's. Paint peeling on window frame. Shower fixed, old and broken connection which dribbled down the wall. Dining room has cold counter for deserts most of which had already been started before evening meal. Fresh deserts served were not as stated by waiters. Complete lack of communication between management and staff throughout our stay. No one available at check out Sunday morning to deal with complaints and receptionist had 2 attempts to get the bill right.<br... more

Having just returned after a weekend break at this hotel I felt I had to give my opinion on the Sway Manor hotel. Food on the good pub grub line poor quality beds with blankets no duvets old tv's Nice dining room,good pianist Tired decor and tired showers Poor housekeeping needs supervision / management

Its a nice Hotel, nice grounds and nice staff, however when we paid, the Manager decided to double the bill!! and stated that we were mistaken. Then proceeded to argue with us. We had booked 4 nights previous & recieved a quote for bed and breakfast which was absolutly clear to me at £99.00 one night free for a two night stay. If you stay, make sure you confirm in writing what you are getting and what your paying for. Disgruntled customer.

This hotel was a real delight and a great find. The gardens have been beautifully planted and are topped off by a swimming pool that my chidren loved Staff great, very helpful Great hotel, run in a lovely family way
