Club Cala D`Or Park Apartments

Just returned from a week at the club cala dor in majorca after reading the reviews i wanted to change the apartments but so glad i didnt it is a excellent complex. I get really annoyed when people moan what do they expect for their money. When we arrived i thought it looked lovely someone had even complained it was dated and worn well take my word this is not the case. After reading the previous reviews here, we arrived to the Cala d'or Park Club with anticipation - we were very wary of what lay ahead but had full confidence that a reputable travel agency would not send us to a terrible apartment complex. Sadly, all the bad reviews that we read were fairly accurate. We were given a ground floor apartment that was in a corner of the complex that didn't seem to get any sun. my boyfriend and i booked our holiday to cala d'or at the last minute following the recommendations of a local budget travel tour operator. we have stayed in 4 star hotels in gran canaria and apartments in stalis crete, but id always wanted somewhere more scenic, less developed. once we hopped off the plane and onto a bus to the resort of cala d'or i knew my heart was won over. the journey itself by bus was so scenic, passing by olive groves, tiny hilltop towns, and small fishing villages, cala d'or itself looks different to the rest... more

Just got back from Club Cala D`Or Park, and the Apartments were better than expected. We stayed on the first floor and the apartment was cleaned every other day. On the second to last day our apartment was locked , and both my kids ipods were stolen from inside their suitcase. Also my wifes mobile phone and charger was stolen. (the phone was left on charge while we sat at walshes bar down the road) We reported to the Police and they checked the apartment as there was no break or forced entry. I have just returned for a one week holiday at this complex. After reading some of the terrible reviews about it I was nearly tempted to try and change the booking but I am really glad that we didn't. We were a young couple with no kids so I can't really comment on the kids entertainment and so on, but the apartments were clean and spacious. i have just come back from a stay at the club apartments,which i was dreading after reading reviews about it on here.when we arrived there i didn't think we had arrived at the right place according to what i had read,it was lovely,it was clean pleasant and friendly.we did have to go over the road (which is'nt a main road)to get to our apartment,which we didn't mind at all and the views were really nice.it was so much nicer than expected .i'm sure the people that it didn't agree with are use to 5 star plus hotels and maybe should have thought... more

Just returned and was very pleasantly surprised! Yes the apartments are old, but they were very clean, towels changed every other day. The entertainment was great for our children aged 10 and 13, and the location is excellent, handy for the town but quiet at night. If you have the option ask for a 1st floor apartment (basically they have a better balcony). Very friendly, helpful hotel staff.

Had a great time in Cala D'or. Really relaxing holiday. Apartments were really basic, which is all we need for our holiday as we are only in them to sleep and shower. Place was clean, towels changed every other day. The place is ideal for families, but would not advise couples to stay there as there is so many kids.
