Titanic Beach Spa & Aqua Park

My husband, 11 year old son and I arrived at Titanic on 7th April for a one week stay - unfortunately as per other posts experienced the "no room saga"- we were offered rooms at Aladdin or Conrad - was prepared to accept Aladdin but not Conrad as we hadn't heard of it, but after an hour we too were mysteriously found a room at the Titanic. Have just returned from 2 weeks at the Titanic resort & Aquapark. The room was perfect for the three of us - 2 adults, 1 child. We had a ground floor room with the patio doors opening straight out on to the pool - perfect! Two double beds & a large sofa bed. The safe in the room was free of charge & don't worry if your husband forgets the pin code he entered, reception can help - thank goodness! I would advise taking a travel kettle for the room, as until 9am tea & coffee is only available in the restaurant & you're not 'allowed'... more

When choosing holiday, wanted guaranteed sunshine and relaxing break. Booked a week at Titanic, swayed by waterpark facilities, and then found reviews! Certainly had a sinking feeling after reading some opinions. Would recommend booking transfer from airport to hotel before leaving England but no problem getting taxi from hotel to airport at end of holiday. Just book a taxi in hotel foyer. Myself and two girl friends stayed at this resort from March 24 '06 until April 7 '06. We had a brilliant time. Food was gorgeous, catered for all nationalities including English roast dinners for those not very adventurous. Although I must say all food was up to a very high standard. We never had a problem with finding a table and all the waiting staff were extremely helpful. (We found out they work 18 hour days and are paid approximately £10 per week. Went to this hotel with my husband the first week in April 06, we had a great time and will be going back in october with the children as it is fantastic for them. I have nothing but possitive feedback from this holiday, go and have a wonderful time. Sorry no pic's of the waterpark,didn't take any!

have just returned from a week at the titanic resort with my husband and 2 kids aged 11 and 9. We all had a great time especially being able to use the aquapark whenever you like. The rooms are clean and spacious and well maintained, we had groundfloor and this was ideal as the kids could go in and out as thy pleased and you could use your room to save carrying everything to the pool. My partner & I visited this hotel in March 2006 with a little trepidation after reading some of the reviews, upon arrival our first room had a faulty safe and balcony door, and was at the front of the hotel. We called for a service engineer but after half an hour no-one attended. We then asked for another room overlooking the rear, and the pool. It was a good decision. Having read other reports was a bit concerned after we booked this hotel, but on arrival was very pleased. There was 12 of us all together and had asked for 3 rooms next to each other before we left and thats exactly what we got. The rooms are very spacious, we had a family room overlooking the pool, which was very clean and water stocked daily. Keep hold of your glasses !! We arrived at Hurghada airport!!! What an experience. We decided to get our visa's before we left to save time and bother when we arrived. We needent have bothered as you still need an entry form with all of the information that you have already given, which you get from the desk that does the visa. I had followed information already given and did not let anyone touch the cases. We had pre-booked the hotel taxi for seven people that was ok and we found him waiting outside. Having just got back from the Titanic resort I was so relieved when we arrived and discovered that it was not half as terrible as some of reviews I have read. There are some things that could be done to improve your stay but overall it was fantastic and we have come back after thoroughly enjoying our week in sun. I found the food to be ok and there was plenty of it. Some of the food there is obviously for the Russians / Germans however there is PLENTY for the English to enjoy and I certainly didn’t go hungry.
