Got there on Saturday night 13/08/11, given room 507 but it was like a box room, double bed in a corner one thin single cupboard wardrobe, no space in room to swing a cat, bathroom so tiny think it measured 36x40" one person only at a time could fit in, even the door... more

I stayed in the Vista nova apartments in July.It is not in palma nova its Magaluf.Way to noisy walls are like paper you can hear every one coming and leaving the apartments all hours of the night/morning.The rooms are very small,But I can say they were cleaned every morning... more

quite dissapointing....decent enough service....very basic accomodation...you really need a safe deposit box....money and cigarettes taken from rooms...hotel staff on reception not interested.....def wont be back

2nd time at the vistanova, going back next year, clean hotel, excellent location, foods ok, great entertainment, friendly staff, not good 4 peaople with walking difficulties with the BIG hill at the side & the PRs get annoying trying to get you in to the bars but if it means living out there i'd do that job aswell! :D

I'm used to travel Spain (third time in mallorca) and i've been in one star's hotels that were much better! than this one quoted 3 STARS ???!! Here you can forget about sleeping ! the location is very noisy and the hotel itself too till 6.00 a.m. people are shouting and singing in the road and knocking the doors in the passages. I don't remember laying on such uncomfortable bed in my whole life! The Hotel is not convivial at all even between young people, that's the first time I saw this in Spain on summer season ! The view is awfull (see my pictures), the restaurants and shops around there are pitiful it seems like stores have only three kind of products : alcohol, crisps (just one single brand please), and air mattresses ! The pool is a small insipid padding pool badly located in a corner, so you have to be there early to have any place, people have no fun around it. The rooms are very small unlike the ad pictures, the bathroom is nearly as big as a cupboard. The beach is near the hotel but it's a small unconvivial one sometimes i was wondering if that was a beach or a port because of the boats proliferation. The spot is the worst and filthy all over the majestic island !! My advice is : Prefer paying more rather than coming in this hotel. Don't forget seeing my pictures which are proofs of what am i saying...

Hiya me and my three mates stopped at the hotel vistanova for 1 week with escapdes. The holiday was fab, the hotel was clean however the food was average and the same most nights. The hotel was really close to the action however it did not keep us awake as we were facing the pool. The escapdes reps were excellent, both good looking and made sure we had a great holiday. I would recommend it to anyone.
Loved this hotel, better than expected from kissntell
Stayed at Vistanova 6th June for 1 week and was better than expected. The hotel was rated a young and lively hotel when me n my 2 m8s booked it, but when we got there is had children and older adults there 2. Everybody was friendly though and everybody got on really well. Although it sounds like we stayed there just before peak season started is was very clean and rooms had more than enough room 4 all 3 of us! The staff were very friendly. Food was nice 2. The hotel is probably better 4 younger people up 4 the partying coz this hotels right in the centre of all pubs and clubs. Can get noisy but u don't worry bout that if ur out patying like us. HAD THE BEST TIME AT VISTANOVA AND WOULD DEFO GO BACK NEXT YEAR.

We have just returned from our stay in Palma Nova.When we arrived at the hotel it looked very nice,the rooms are small but clean and the food was very good.When it came tonight time it was a different, story the noise in this hotel is absolutely dreadful ,so be prepared not to get any sleep at all !!!!!!!! The staff wern't very helpful either! After our 3rd night we had to move to a different hotel we were so tired it really spoiled the start of our holiday. So if you like to get a good nights sleep after you've been out partying do not stay at the Visat Nova Hotel !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Me and 3 of my friends all 21 have come back from staying here and we had a great time. The hotel was very average but was exactly what we expected on a young and lively hotel. if you do want to sleep before 7am then don't come here - don't even go near Magaluf! But if you are looking for a comfortable hotel right by the main parts of Magaluf then this a good place to go.

I have just come back from Palma Nova where we stayed half board at the Vista Nova hotel. In my opinion the hotel was average its the people that go there that bring it down. We stopped there for a week in June so expected it to be a bit lively but we did not expect to get woken up every morning at 5/6 am from people shouting, chanting, banging etc. I am 21 years old young enough to be up for a laugh and enjoy myself (We were out most nights til 2am but did not make the noise that others did) but this was just too much. There were young children in the hotel and several of the groups that were there were shouting swear words at the top of their voices pulling their trousers down and just generally being a pain. Having talked to other people at other hotels this problem was not unique to the Vista Nova. The rooms are very tiny but are clean and the maids come in every day to make the beds although often they wake you up walking straight in despite having a dont disturb sign on the door . The hotel is in a brilliant location right next to the beaches of Palma Nova and Magaluf, there is a wide selection of food at the hotel that looks very appetising but does not always taste that brilliant. We did not stay in the hotel in the evening so i am not sure what their entertainment is like but you are, as mentioned before, right next to Magaluf and Palma Nova so there is an excellent selection of banging pubs and quiet family. The night life is ace but be prepared to get hassled by cockneys to get you into bars.

We went to the Vistanova at the end of May. We had been there two years ago and found it better this year, food had improved,staff were still as friendly. We plan to go back in September, and I'm now 50 years old. We just love the location as there is plenty to do at night and just recharge the batteries on the beach during the day. The people who moan about the size of the rooms should get a life as you are not there to stay in the rooms all day. See you all there some day.

oh my god this is the worst hotel in the world surely!!!!! we arrived thinkin we were on a young an lively holiday and the first night we got there the police came because we were talkin too loud!!! the rooms.... are the smallest excuse of a kip! they were tiny 2 say the least!!!! we had 2 climb over the bed to get 2 the balcony!!! but they were clean! the food.... all i ate was chips n pizza, the food is the most tasteless crap ever!!! ive never felt so ill in my life!!! didnt wake up for breakfast once so i couldnt comment on that! i wouldnt feed a dog the food in that hotel!!! the pool.... was the smallest thing in the world it looked like a large puddle there was hardley any sun beds at all! its a large hotel with the equipment of a 1 bed flat!!! the staff... are the rudest people to say the least they are the most arragent workers ever. i have never met such rude people!!! all i n all this hotel ruined my holiday and i left 3 days early because of it!!! be warned stay away from the hotel vistanova!!!!
Half Board rip off from A TripAdvisor Member
We stayed at the Vista Nova Hotel on a half board deal. the food was just tolerable at the outset, however, after a few days it became tortuous to take. 90% of the clients at dinner were spanish OAPs. they were given a free bottle of wine plus a free bottle of water. the coffe/juice machines used for breakfast were switched off at dinner. they wanted €1.50 per small bottle of water. they would not supply a jug of water. we tried to bring in our own water but they would not allow this. We felt ripped off as we had paid for our dinners with the deal and consider it necessary to drink with our meals and this was a cheap scam to extract more money from us. We got no satisfaction whatsoever when we complained. We were given a variety of excuses when we enquired why ALL spanish guests got free drinks and we didnt. One of the explanations was that it was supplied free by the Spanish Government to them. We felt discriminated against, especially as we were given free drinks for the first four days and these were withdrawn without explanation. We did not allow this to ruin our holiday however. I am approaching the Victor Meldrew phase of my life. Maybe that is half the problem. I read glowing reviews for this hotel and cant understand that. Another thing to watch is the merchandise in the local shops. a lot of it is shoddy and will break as soon as you try to use it. Shopkeepers do not respond well to returned goods. It will be difficult to exchange or get a refund. Majorca is a beautiful island and a great holiday destination. By day island tours and walkabouts in Palma are a must. By night, Magaluf is full of life. I dont know where the "PR" girls get their energy from. Live entertainment in some of the bars is fab. One must make an effort not to be irritated by some things there.
