" Haraki is the most peaceful place one... "

Haraki is the most peaceful place one can ever visit!!!!- a perfect holiday resort for families and couples.

My husband and me stayed in Angela Studios. It was the perfect accommodation for our holiday package and budget. It had an excellent location- only 8 metres far from the beach. Our view from the balcony was astonishing! What a nice seaside!

Angela studios are located in a convenient distance far from the noisy bars and restaurants but within 3 minutes walking distance from there. The rooms were very clean and we were very satisfied from the cleaning service.
The locals were very friendly and very helpful in every query we had.

Overall we were happy with Olympic Holidays and our resort. Thinking of going again in this peaceful paradise in Angela Studios in summer 2005! We would recommend it to everyone!

" Haraki is a bit of an undiscovered... "

Haraki is a bit of an undiscovered jewel - a perfect base for exploring the island of Rhodes or just for a relaxing chill-out.

The Angela Studios were a complete disgrace - not clean and in a bad state of repair. Complained officially to Olympic rep at the resort, but with no real result, so went and found another apartment ourselves to rent (thanks to some very helpful locals and regular visitors), in the Memories Studios. Lovely and clean, tiled floors throughout, bathroom was a wet room with a fantastic shower, and the balcony faced out over the bay with fantastic views. Air conditioning at no extra cost, which was great.

Haraki itself has enough to keep you going, with a good selection of restaurants and bars for all tastes. Recommend Stefano’s bar (only been open 3 months) for the best selection of spirits (15 whiskeys!), the most delicious crepes and a genuinely friendly welcome. Jacks bar does good English breakfasts and is quite lively. For food, try Maria’s for Greek, Davinci’s for pasta and pizza in huge portions, and Kiss Grill for a mixture of styles.

Out and about, hire cars are a must for the hidden away places, like Prassonisi at the south tip of the island, where you can walk along the sandbank that separates the Aegean and the Med. Monolithos has amazing views and such a presence about it, so long as you are ok with heights!

Getting to Lindos and Rhodes Town, the bus is the best option, about 15 minutes to Lindos and about 40 minutes to Rhodes Town. Get the early buses to make sure you get a seat. In Haraki itself, try the climb up to the fort Feraklos (wear trainers not flip flops) for views of Agathi Beach.

Things to bring back - local olive oil and honey from any of the villages tastes divine, and watch out for souma, a rather potent local drink.

Overall, Haraki is a place you will want to go back to time and again.
