Gar-Anat Hotel de Peregrinos

We were a little apprehensive, having read the only other review in english, which gave the hotel a very poor rating. However, I think the hotel must have taken note because we had quite a different experience. The location is great - right in the centre of old Granada, a few minutes walk from the cathedral and the shops. Parking is just down the road in a multi storey with very tight turns - but quite secure. A strange hotel this one. Probably many English speaking readers will not be able to understand the two Spanish reviews that have preceded mine, but they have both highlighted the problems with this hotel. It is an old building that has been well restored. The rooms are modern but very "minimalist", for example there is no wardrobe in the bedroom, you hang your clothes on an open rack. There are no armchairs. In fact very little in the room. We had an MP3 player in our room, but it did not work. A very modern bathroom, but with design... more
