Wellness Hotel Casa Barca

We have just returned from Malcesine after enjoying a week of high temperatures and magical scenery. The Casa Barca was everything and more than we had hoped. The family owners were very friendly, helpful and extremely hospitable. It was a place to relax and all the facilities were first class. We stayed at Hotel Casa Barca during our visit to Malcesine to get married. The quality of the premises, the customer service and the health facilites made our stay here highly enjoyable and we would reccommend this hotel to any adults visiting the area. We stayed in a Junior suite and despite having not much in the way of storage, the room space and cleanliness was fabulous. We have just returned from a ten day stay in this hotel booked with a tour company. The furnishings and fittings were all brand new due to a spectacular refit. Good public area, free internet access, rooftop garden, grounds and outdoor pool.Our top of the range room was large, well appointed and had a spacious balcony with table and chairs. We stayed in malcesine in 2001 and had noticed this hotel and enviable location (a few minutes walk into the centre of malcesine) then, so having decided to return we looked up this hotel and found that it had been totally refurbished this year. Booked this hotel after reading reviews and we were as impressed as previous guests. Hotel is very modern obviously recently refurbished and beautifully clean. We were upgraded to a suite which for 42 euros a night each B&B, was fantastic value. Claudio and family (including baby Emma) were wonderful hosts and really made us welcome. Have just returned from a one week stay at the Casa Barca Hotel in Malcesine. The hotel was recommended to us by relatives who had stayed there earlier in the year. We were not disappointed. Lovely hotel, spotlessly clean, modern decor and great facilities. Good value. Our nice double room was €90 per night B&B for two people. About 5 minute walk to the town centre. We stayed at this small, friendly hotel for one night and had a wonderful time from start to finish. For a hotel with the kind of facilities it has (pool, jacuzzi, sauna, gym, massage room, proximity to village, set amongst olive trees, great view), it seemed a steal at under EUR100 per night in the high season. New hotel opened 12 May 2007 located a 10 minutes stroll from Malcesine centre. Run by Claudio and his family, this is a first-class hotel where the owners make every effort to make your stay comfortable and meet personal requests where possible. This is a lovely new hotel with fantastic facilities for the price and star rating, a great location and best of all, brilliant and personal service. We booked several rooms here for our wedding in Malcesine and were first a bit worried as there were no reviews, but now realise this is because it is a new (or newly renovated?) hotel. Casa Barca Hotel Malcesine. Having recently spent two weeks at this hotel, I can highly recommend it. From the moment we arrived the hotel owner Claudio & his family made our holiday a fantastic experience. They went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable in every way. The hotel itself was outstanding with impeccable service & the friendliest staff I have ever met. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to all ages & cant wait for my next visit
