Hotel Villa Sirina

Stayed at the end of Oct, a great, small, peaceful and friendly hotel. As others have said the place is spotless (even at the end of the season) and the pool area and breafast terrace was delightful. Breakfast excellent, staff lovely. We arrived late (after midnight) having arrived at the airport with the wrong passports and having had to change flights......but no problems in contacting or changing arrangements, very helpful and good English as well - my Italian being almost non-existant. The Villa is exactly as described on the web page. A quite small building for a hotel, but large enough for a villa, situated on a nice property, close to the feet of Taormina hills. The room was exactly as we expected, with a small balcony overseeing the pool and looking at the see. When we wanted to have more room outside, the owner, Signor Salvatore was very gentle and managed to find for us, the next day, another room, a little bit smaller, but with a great roofed terrace, situated on the first floor. Arrived at the Villa Sirina through a grand entrance and driveway and were met by friendly staff at reception. First impressions were good with marble and antique furniture. Our room was on the top floor, no lift, which wasn't a problem for us but could have been for others. We had a sea view and balcony, which was on the small side. We has a lovely week at the Villa Sirina in late August-early September 2005. Throughout everyone at the family- owned and run hotel was very friendly and helpful, and as it is small (and spotlessly clean, and very pretty and comfortable) we got to know many of the staff, as well as the other guests. We have just returned from a week spent at the Villa Sirina, what a fantastic place this is. The hotel has been refurbished to a very high standard, everything is immaculate. The cleanliness was unbelievable not a speck of dust anywhere. All the staff are very friendly and helpfull, nothing is too much trouble. For anyone traveling to Sicily who wants a taste of Sicilian hospitality this is definitely the place to stay.

What a fantastic hotel, we were made to feel really welcome. We felt like part of the family and all the staff were very friendly. The hotel is immaculately clean and likewise the pool area. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. A local bus service stops at the hotel gates, and it is only a short walk to restaurants and all local amenities. This summer we spend a week in Hotel Villa Sirina in Taormina (4 stars locally). This city is the most celebrated gem of tourist Sicily (Italy). Amazement is what fills the Visitor when he arrives at Villa Sirina. The Villa is an oasis of peace and quite. The nicely renovated Villa is decorated with antiques, has a terras with trees to have your breakfast outdoors in the shade and a cosy swimmingpool. Villa Sirina is a wonderful & beautifully restored large Villa in the foothills away from the hustle and bustle of Taormina. The Villa has been very tastefully furnished. We had the most wonderful room with a very large balcony overlooking the pool and the sea. Everything is immaculate. Very friendly / helpful owner and family. Perfect for a very relaxing break. A lovely family run small hotel set in a verdent valley near the historic town of Taormona, Italy. Also only about 500 metres from the beach. Clean friendly and very welcolming, you are almost part of the family Well suited to the title of "Charm & Relax" Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

We booked for 3 nights at the Villa Sirina and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The manager and staff are all friendly and made us feel very welcome at the hotel. The hotel is just outside Taormina centre and is a welcome oasis from the hordes of tourists in the town! There is a regular bus service from the train station which costs 1.30 euros for single ticket and takes around 10 minutes (taxis cost 15 euros from the town).
