Hotel Soleado

3rd and 4th floors were just renovated - we were first on 4th floor. Great view. Very helpful and attentive staff. Location was wonderful. Beach was just across the street - walk to the old town was about 10 minutes with great views the entire way. Would have liked more information about the area - we missed a once a year event 25 kilometers away, that we saw later on CNN. When arriving at the airport, the cab fare is about 20 Euros ( $33) or 70 cents by bus. Must purchase ticket inside airport or at any news stand. No tickets on... more

Had a very nice holiday at Soleado Hotel. Roberto and the staff are very nice and friendly and they were always helpful in giving us tips and directions where to go. The hotel has clean rooms and we had towel change and rooms were made up everyday. The hotel is near to the town centre and it is reachable by car. The hotel has reserved parking spaces and it costs 8 Euros a day. The Breakfast and Bar are very decent. Would definetly return to this hotel and recomend it to friends. This hotel has just had a extensive make over, can smell the fresh wood in the building , looks brand new. The rooms are larger than most 3 star hotels, just across the street from a very nice beach, nice pool, breakfast was pretty good, good way to start the day, This is one of the cleanest hotels I have been in. We have just spent a week at the Soleado hotel and had a really lovely holiday. The hotel is clean, staff friendly and location excellent. Just opposite the beach and a 15 minute walk to the town makes it ideal. We stayed on bed and breakfast and the continental breakfast was good enough to keep us going until lunchtime. Alghero itself is gorgeous. Everything is accessible and restaurants are fantastic. Our particular favourite was Andreini in the town..we ate there twice. Stayed at the Hotel Soleado for 2 weeks beginning of September 07, booked through Justsardinia. Parents plus 17 and 19 year old daughters. Comfortable, very clean hotel - all amenities very good (pool and bar). Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel Soleado is opposite a clean beach with shallow calm sea. 15 minute walk along seafront to the old city. My Partner and myself stayed for a week at this Hotel, the price was very reasonable and the the travelling arrangements were good as it's only a two hour flight from the UK. The Hotel itself has the most fantastic view of the beach and the sea, it seems which ever room you get you get that good view and there are sunseats on the roof where you can relax. Booked this hotel through the 'Just Sardinia' website. This Hotel is perfect for your stay in Alghero, opporsite beach, 15 min stroll into old town or even better when feeling lazy a bus stops outside. The rooms are really spacious and clean (cleaners waited for you to go to breakfast to clean your room) our baloney was fab! over looking the sea front . We stay for fourteen nights at this hotel and we have nothing but praise for them. The hotel was very clean and maid service everyday. The great thing was she would come in the room when you were at breakfast. The staff were very friendly and would help you with any queries. Taking our eight month old baby with us they were great with anything extra we needed for him. The rooms are very spacious and a nice sea view from the balcony. This hotel seems under rated we stayed as a family, two children, and us. We had a quad room with sea view, the rooms are spacious and clean, the hotel is yards away from the wonderful beach, a short walk to restaurants , shops and supermarkets. Had all we could ask for on a long weekend. The Soleado is next door to the Florida, and by far a better place to stay, offers a great saving in comparison with freindly and helpful staff, would certainly visit again.

Hotel Soleado is a three star superior next door to Hotel Florida and a few yards away from Hotel Alma. All these hotels are sperated from the beach by the main road. Hotel Soleado has a pool, as does Florida, San Remo, Riviera and Playa, Alma does not.
