Hotel all`Azzurro

We stayed at the same time as previous reviewer and had a wonderful time as did all the other guests who we spoke to. From what I can gather, the rooms in the annexe are not as nice but we had a balcony room and it was wonderful. Staff were friendly, everywhere was clean. Food was what you would expect for a 3/4 star. We have booked for next year. Quite a few guests were 3 times returners.

BE WARNED ABOUT THIS HOTEL. We had a horrible experience here. We stayed at the All Azzurro in Limone. This hotel is in a perfect situation - views of the lake and mountains, next to the ferry and a short stroll to the town. The room was nicely decorated and there was a small balcony with lovely views overlooking the lake - make sure you ask for a balcony when booking. For health reasons we wanted to avoid hotels on the hillside and stay by the lake. We did read earlier reviews and can confirm that the food is as appalling as described, both in terms of quality and quantity. Again as outlined in other reviews, the cleaners did clean well, the waiters did a good job around what the kitchen gave them, but that did not amount to much. This is a great 3 star hotel, which is situated at the back end of Limone, all rooms have a lake view which is outstanding! The dining area is clean and tidy, typical European breakfast scene which is sliced meats and cheeses, coffee, tea (take some PG tips if your a Brit lol) cereal, fresh fruit and fresh juices etc, which you can either eat in or al fresco, if your half board which we were the food standard is very good and delicious, in my opinion outside the hotel there wasn't a bad resteraunt at all, you can use the Garda Ferry Service... more

My husband and I stayed at the hotel earlier this year for a 10 night stay. The view is breathtaking and the rooms very clean and but very basic. The staff were helpful but there it was not very often you found someone on reception to help you. The restaurant for guests had a very repetative basic menu which was very disapointing considering the Menu in the main open restaurant for the hotel was of very good standard and the wine much much nicer. best value for money in italy we have been 5 times and are returning again

Hotel All Azzurro in a beautiful position on the lakeside,amazing views and very picturesque. Found that the menu was very limited and repeated several times during a one week stay! Reception staff not very good at communicating and rather abrupt when asked for help with directions, visits etc. We had booked through a tour agency and definately felt that we would have been treated in a more friendly manner if we had been independent travellers. The best thing about the hotel is the situation on the lakeside.

The All`Azzurro lies close to the lake and has pretty views of the lakeside of Limone. Rooms were very clean, athough somewhat basic. Nice pool area, would recommend having a balcony, views stunning, nice terraced area to eat and drink. Food on half board pretty basic, not too much choice, however can upgrade to the restaurant menu. With pleasant staff and stunning views we would definately return.

This best thing about this hotel is the location and the stunning views. It is directly behind the ferry terminal and right in the centre of the village. The rooms were basic, but spotlessly clean and there is a nice pool/patio area to enjoy the sun. The food could be better, but as the price of this hotel was so reasonable we were able to eat out half of the nights we were there. Be warned that Breakfast is always over by 9am though.
