Regina Adelaide Hotel

Stayed at the Regina Adelaide for ten days following a short stay in Venice. The comfort, refinement and friendliness of this hotel is amongst the best I have encountered anywhere in the world. A great hotel for a relaxing holiday. We stayed in a junior suite for seven nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The pool area is lovely and the gardens are very well kept. Rooms are comfortably furnished and bathrooms are fine, if a little dated. Breakfasts are ample and the pool bar serves good snacks for lunch. Only a few very minor niggles - our "lake view" was more accurately a view of the trees bordering the lake. We booked the Hotel Regina Adelaide after visiting Garda previously and found that it's in the best position on the Lake. Our room was very spacious, air conditioned with a balcony lake view. Very good services available to guests including outdoor swimming pool, indoor pool and fitness room, gowns were provided in your room. Food was excellent, dinner to die for, always 4 courses but once a week they did a Gala dinner with 7 courses. Breakfast was buffet style. Have just returned from Garda having spent a week at this hotel with my elderly parents. Couldn't fault the hotel -location fantastic -2 min walk to the lake and only a few minutes to the lovely lanes and alleys of Garda.Probably the best food we've ever had -4 course waiter service with wide choices.Worth paying for the suites with large balcony & views of lake over the trees.Large indoor and outdoor pool and free parking -give the keys in at reception and if they need to move the car they will.Worth going to Mantua -45mins by car right in... more

We stayed at the Regina Adelaide for six nights with our three children and it was fantastic. It is in a perfect location for the ferry, shops, bike hire etc etc. The hotel is very clean, lovely gardens and pool area and the staff are very helpful. Would have no hesitation in returning. If you want a holiday in Lake Garda, choose Garda and if you choose Garda, choose the Regina Adelaide....its that simple for a great holiday!

Just returned from a wonderful week at what must be the best Hotel in Garda. Very quiet and relaxing , clientele on the mature side of life mainly but everything is quality, particularly the food so Dinner is a must , home produced Italian food served with a smile and you can keep your table all night , you will not find much better Hotel food and service. We have just returned from a 5-days stay at Regina Adelaide. This was our honeymoon. The hotel was magnificant, the service was superb. They welcomed us with an ice-cold champaigne with strawberries and with a very kind greetings card. It was so lovely there, so it was hard to drag ourselves away from the hotel. This is a well overdue review of a wonderful hotel in a lovely lakeside town. We visited in July last year and stayed 5 nights before moving on to Venice for 2. The hotel is immaculate. Rooms spacious, tidy and well serviced. The aircon is so quiet you hardly know it's on. We booked direct with the hotel and got a great rate that couldn't be bettered by any agent or website. We were recommended this hotel by the 'in-laws' and were a little dubious that it would not live up to the superlative comments they had made about it for the last seven years. However, they were right. It is superb value for money: meticously clean and the food and wine was very well priced and of a high standard. The staff are not over-friendly, but very efficient. We spent a week at the Regina Adelaide Hotel from 2nd - 9th Sept and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's position on the lake is ideal. Weather .. temp. in the 30's although we gather this is exceptional for Sept. when the mid to late 20's is more the norm. The service was efficient and always friendly and the food first class - the only slight criticism we have on this is that the hot food breakfast was fine as, luckily, we liked scrambled egg and bacon - there was no other choice.
