Wow, wow, wow! If you want a really special stay in Venice, look no further. GORGEOUS decor, sparkling clean, posh, stylish, new, spacious, every amenity you can think of of, fabulous service, fabulous bathrooms with awesome shower, comfortable beds, great views, great location (street entrance a little hard to find, but then, in Venice, what isn't?) From the moment we arrived to Palazzo Barbarigo with a water taxi, we thought we had made the right choice! Situated in the San Polo area, it is a small boutique style hotel on the grand canal....It is simply beautiful and very stylish. We enjoyed the views of the canal from our junior suite, and found the rooms not only gorgeous, but very roomy ,, Valentina was very helpful and approachable always willing to help. This place is really fantastic. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. Location is great and it has it's own dock - which you definitely need in Venice in order to get to and from the airport or train station easily. Breakfast service is amazing - they just keep bringing out food and will get you just about anything you ask for. Same thing at the bar in the evenings - super helpful and friendly staff.

Like experiencing a private luxurious home. Excellent and friendly staff. Magic two seats balcony on the Canal grande. Outstanding bathroom, all brand new, which in Venice is hard to find!!!

This truly is a beautiful hotel. The large mirrors and curtains, the wooden floors and curvy furniture are all unmistakably Venetian – and yet, in their austere lines and minimalist use they create an atmosphere that is unquestionably modern. Our first-floor room was fantastic – so spacious and yet so elegant, discreetly lighted and with a partial view of the Grand canal( no balcony ). We stayed their in Nov 2007 for our honeymoon and loved almost everything about it. A great design hotel for people who like to stay in chic yet understated places. So much effort has been put into the design details! but you're not paying the price like bigger hip luxury chains! This small gem has only recently opened its door in September 07 and is located on The Grand Canal in the San Polo district within a 2 minutes walking distance from Saint Toma Water Bus (Vaporetti) stop. Was in Venice on business and booked this new member of Design Hotels for 2 nights. This is an intimate and well located designer hotel that is well suited to the 18-40 age group that loves hotels that are stylish. Service from all the staff was wonderful - all were super friendly and accommodating. My side view room was a good size. We arrived at the hotel on the 04th october for 5 nights. We took the Water taxi EUR90.00(costs less if you share) but well worth it. Its a little speedboat that adds to the fun!! On arrival at the hotel, the entrance was very elegant and modern and we were given room 17. This room is a Prestige room so a partial view of the canal.
