Couldn't be better - enjoyed every minute from neko987
We stayed here for 4 nights for our silver wedding anniversary and the hotel was excellent. We had a superior room with a canal view and the whole hotel was beautiful. The food in the restaurant was superb, pricey, but definitely worthy for a special celebration. All the staff were very helpful but especially Barbara from reception and Roberto from the dining room. We spent a long week end at the Centurion Palace and we really had a good time! It was my boyfriend's gift for my 30th birthday and I couldn't be more happy! He booked a Deluxe room and the ambiance was so cozy and romantic... he ordered a dozen of red roses for me and the hotel staff was so nice to deliver a chocolate cake (my favourite one!) in our room! The service is superb and everybody has been helpful and professional! Location is perfect and we visited all the main historical sites of Venice. We can't wait to go back there!... more
Magnificent Hotel on the Grand Canal from davideHoveEastSussex
I cant recommend this new addition to the 5 star properties in Venice highly enough. The staff and service are superb both front of house and in the restaurant. The rooms are stunning and we stayed in 404 overlooking the grand canal- a huge suite with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The bathrooms are equally dramatic being decorated in gold ! The hotel apparently had some teething problems on opening but for our stay during the first weekend of May everything was perfect and nothing was too much trouble. We will be... more

glamorous hotel and great service but awkward bathrooms from heloiseandtom
The hotel is beautiful and on the grand canal in dorsoduro opposite the gritti palace. the view from the breakfast room and bar is stunning. The hotel is at the far end of dorsoduro away from the crowds and non smoking which is important to us. We didn´t have any problems with noise, the busker mentioned by another reviewer seemed charming to us and closing the shutters blocked any noise. We stayed for 3 nights in Superior rooms. The rooms are pretty large & very tastefully decorated. The common parts are beautifully designed with a very cozy bar. Breakfast was of very high quality and plentiful. Would recommend to both leisure and business travellers.

Lovely boutique hotel from dd1859
We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary with a weekend at this jewel of a hotel, recently opened in a former palazzo on the Grand Canal. The rooms are beautifully designed, the staff extremely helpful, and the location in a relatively quiet part of Venice and next to a vaporetto stop is terrific. I particularly liked the gold bathroom and the stately proportions of all the public rooms (including an enormous chandelier). A Complete Disappointment from TheBirdsDorset
It is not pleasant to have to write a negative review about anywhere but hopefully by writing this it will avoid anyone else being as disappointed as we were. We booked to stay at this hotel with British Airways, it was to be our first trip to Venice and we were both really looking forward to it. Through the BA website we had chosen a Superior room as the best available. A unique dream on Canal Grande from Mywayfromvaduz
Opening the window and enjoying a fresh breeze on Canal Grande with a fantastic view of the spectacular town of Venice. A Perfect Hotel Experience in Venice from Carate
We have just returned from 2 nights at this wonderful hotel in Venice, and we already miss it, especially our Phillipine friend who brought us tea in the mornings with her big smile! We have been to Venice several times, and stayed in different hotels, but this is by far the best - in fact the attitude of all the staff reminded us of the Bulgari Hotel in Milano, which in our opinion is over the top! Wonderful hotel from fussytraveller81
We booked the Centurion Palace for 1 night before going on a cruise. The hotel is in a great location at one end of the Grand Canal, and opposite St Marks Square. We had a duplex suite with gold leaf bathroom, hidden shower, sunken bath (hidden behind the bed) and 2 wonderful balconies over the canal. It was stunning, and our 2 year old daughter loved the electric curtains. Our only problem with the hotel was that the shower flooded - but the hotel is only 1 week old and they are working on the problem.
