Hostal Don Peque

WOW...what more can we say nerja is amazing...the holiday was perfect and made more so by the hospitality of Clara at the HOSTAL DON PEQUE. On our arrival to us leaving myself and my wife were made to feel very welcome and nothing seemed to much trouble from breakfast on the roof terrace to arranging our taxi to and from the airport. We had a wonderfully relaxed trip to Nerja, made all the better by our stay at Dom Peque. The room was comfortable, maintained to a high standard and despite its very central location was very quiet. Breakfast on the roof terrace is a must and the friendly owners helped make it a home from home experience. Could not recommend highly enough.

We had spent a week in Fuengirola doing 'business' stuff related to our own apartment there so were looking forward to a few days' break in Nerja to attend a friend's wedding. Hostal Don Peque is super place to stay in Nerja. Very clean, the room is spacious and we had a nice sea view from our room on the 3 floor. The bathroom was very good and new. The atmosphere was very friendly! The location of the Hostal is fantastic, only 5 min. from the beach, restaurants and bars. We spent only 1 night in Don Peque, because we had a room in Torremolinos (in the hotel), and it was pity to leave Don Peque and come back to our big and noisy hotel. My wife and I spent six days at the Hostal Don Peque and we were very happy with our choice. The owners are lovely people, always willing to help or give out information. The rooms are bright and airy with good air con. Our room had a balcony complete with table and chairs where you could enjoy a drink or a snack. Breakfast is taken on the roof terrace, which is a very pleasant way to start the day. Super clean, super convenient, lovely rooftop, large rooms, spot on. Had a great time in Nerja and if we went again, wouldn't stay anywhere but here with Clara and Roberto..

Booked this hotel as we fell in love with the photos of the roof terrace which is lovely (although the photos are much better than the real thing!). Rooms very pleasant and colourful with nice balconies with rooftop and distant sea views. There are quite steep steps up. There was no lounge. Our price didn't include breakfast which was served on the roof at 4E or 6E - we did not bother choosing to have a coisquoint & coffee in the main square for 3.40E instead or a cooked breakfast for 5.50E. Hostal Don Peque is a brilliant hostal which is more like a boutique hotel. The owners have paid amazing attention to detail with the interior desiging of the rooms and they have a definite feel of an aristes touch. The rooms are spacious and clean and have a decent sized balcony whilst the rooftop terrace gives you panoramic views of the town and the sea. the hosts are very friendly and the price is very good value for money,especially in off peak season.

Clara and Roberto were wonderful hosts. Rooms were clean and the hostal is within easy walking distance of the beachs and other attractions. Remember if arriving by car that the street where the hostal is located turns into a pedestrian area after 7 pm each day. Breakfast on the roof terazza is a treat in itself and Roberto makes a superb cafe con leche.

You can not go wrong with Hostal Don Peque. The rooms were spacious with a balcony... the bedding was clean... the rooms charming. The owners are amazing. Make sure you have breakfast on the rooftop.. the view is beautiful. Great Location. Whenever I'm in Nerja I will always stay here.
