Westender Inn

I started going to the Westender in 2000, and I keep coming back for the perfect vacation. The staff is the friendliest, most attentive I've ever known. The rooms are spacious and clean, the pool is great for young and old alike, and in the shape of Jamaica. I never have to worry about gaining too much weight when I go down there, because the chef always makes me the healthiest meals. Surpassed expectations! We went for an Anniversary celebration. The rooms were clean and spacious, and all ocean side rooms had great views. The staff was courteous and helpful. There is a restuarant on site with a great breakfast, I would eat dinner at one of the places in town. Secluded from the hub of Negril, a short 3 mile drive. A fabulous spa right next door with very resonable prices.

We have been traveling to the West End for over 20 years and were first introduced to this site as Hog Heaven. When the location we had formally stayed at was sold ,we knew we wanted the same atmosphere and The Wesender Inn provided what we were looking for. My wife and I have been to Negril many times over the years and we always stayed on the beach. Over the years, we noticed the beach becoming more commercialized. We were married at the Westender Inn on May 24, 2008. Thanks to the staff, this was the most beautiful and memorable day of my life. When we arrived, Colin (General Manger) greeted us by saying "Welcome to paradise" and he couldn't have been more accurate. I must say that at first I thought the Westender was way to far for me, my sign other booked the Honeymoon room for Valentines Day as we were already on island. so off we went. I've stayed at the Westender Inn twice and I plan on returning as soon as I can. The Westender is the most secluded, peaceful getaway I've ever experienced. It's right on the water which adds to the beauty of the countryside. It's a short car ride to Negril's beautiful beach. However, I found that I didn't care to leave the Westender too often because it's THAT relaxing! I have stayed at the Westender a few times now. It is the most peaceful place in Negril ! The grounds are so colorful with flowers and fruit trees. It is located away from the hustle and bustle ....but only a 10 min ride to the cliffs ...Ltu's etc. If you love Negril...but not the hassles, etc....try the Westender...

Having stumbled across The Westender Inn on a trip around the world in 2004, it instantly became a place where I knew I would return. And as expected I found myself back there 6 months later! Admittedly it’s a little further out from the centre of Negril than some of the other resorts, but being 10 minutes away from the centre of town is a small price to pay for paradise! Spent a week at the Westender and soon realized how fortunate we were to be staying off the strip!!! The ambience and staff are delightful and the accomodations clean, neat and ample with the great addition of an outside beach shower. After a longish drive from the other resorts and lodging we continued a bit more and soon came upon the Westender with its 12 rooms, a fresh water pool, restaurant and small beach. We were lulled to sleep by the surf and found front row seats to the best sunsets ever!!!!!!!!
