Casa Candolim

Our first trip to Goa became a real memorable one. Its a real fun place and honestly speaking, the best way to enjoy it is to stay in a smaller hotel than a 5 star accommodation. Our visit to Goa was a truly memorable experience and we have to thank Casa Candolim for creating this marvelous experience for us. They were very caring and helped us in many ways to experience what Goa has to offer. We saw some lovely beaches. Morji, Vagator and of course Candolim Beach, they were all lovely. This was our first trip to Goa and my Boy Friend and I had a wonderful time at this hotel. You get a feeling of warmth. It is cozy, peaceful and lazy. You can spend Hours just sitting in the balcony watching the sunset or strolling on the clean and very upscale Candolim Beach. We had been to Goa few times earlier but this was the first trip during off-season and must admit it was truly magical. The place had a typical goan look-n-feel which made it all the more exciting and interesting. The rooms were tastefully done and were very spacious. Time spent at Casa was truly elating. We were treated like loyalties as we did not have to rush for anything. We could wake up as late as possible and still the breakfast would be served to us. My wife and I visited Casa Candolim, Goa during off season in the month of August as the monsoons were gradually winding up. Casa Candolim is a beautiful establishment tucked away in Candolim village and affords the resident both the natural beauty, look and feel of staying in a Goan village, while being close to all the busy and happening beaches like Calangute, Anjuna and Baga. Casa Candolim is the nearest equivalent of a bungalow on a Goa beach on the fringe of a seashore village. It has only four rooms so that by definition it cannot offer the facilities usual in five star hotels such as a spa, restaurants, a bar or the like. The rooms open directly on the balconies or courtyard so that one has the impression of living outside, which is the best way to enjoy Goa. A relatively new resort, we came across this hotel while surfing on the Internet. Took our chances and made the booking. The Hotel was right on Candolim Beach and our room was facing the Ocean. Peaceful location and very well thought out rooms... fairly large, clean air-conditioned, in fact they had all the luxuries of a five star hotel.
