Planos Bay Hotel

My partner and I stayed at the Planos Bay Apts in May 2005 and had a great time. The hotel room had no air con but that didn't bother us. The fridge came in quite handy for stocking up on snacks and drinks from the local store. The music drifting up from the pool area could get quite irritating as it seemed to be the same cd on a constant loop (we had to listen to Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield about 100 times during the week we were there). Stayed at Planos Bay apartments in June 2005 with husband and 2 boys aged 11 and 8 years. First impressions were excellent, clean and welcoming. Rooms very large with seperate sleeping area, privacy fom children also able to send kids to bed and still sit on terrace without disturbing them. Kids clubs great my youngest said he wouldn't go but couldn't keep him away once started. We have just come back from the Planos Bay apts and what a fantasic time we have had (we didnt want to come home). our rep sam was superb & all the bar staff at the apartments were excellent and the funniest people we have met especially yiannis & illias. there was 8 of us includung a 13 & 9 year old and there was lots for them to do and you knew they were safe. the beach was nearby as were shops and a good selection of tavernas. the shipwreak trip is definatley worth doing. thanks to everyone for an excellent holiday!

Just got back from a weeks holiday at Planos Bay Apts. Had a really fab time, hot weather and the accommodation was good too. Met the best barmen ever - Illia, Memis & Yannis, three of the funniest guys we have ever met kept us entertained all holiday (as well as drunk!). We definately will be back to see them next year - wish we'd stayed longer this time!

We recently returned from a two-week stay in Planos Bay during August and we all thought it was super (wife, husband, 10 year old girl & 7 year old girl)! Besides being in a great location, the general manager kept on top of things and connected with all the guests. Yani & Thespina (from the pool bar) made everybody feel welcome and offered tasty, reasonably priced food, and there was always some kind of entertainment/activities going on. Stayed in these apartments at the start of july and have to agree with the good reveiws above. Really nice place. Went there with 2 friends for a complete chill out and did just that! Could be a bit noisy around the pool with all the kids but a good mini-disc and headphones solved that or simply heading to the beach nearby. Headed into Tsivili or on a few island tours nearly every day - well worth it but be careful with 'Turte Tour'. It was great the best holiday ever! Thespina, Yannis , Memmis Nikos and Ilia were great they were working all day and made my holiday extremely special , the wasnt one time when the bar staff made me uncomfetable. Thespina and yennis(married) were a great laugh and we will be returning to their hotel in 2006! My holiday of 2004 was great all thanks to The bar staff ....thanks guys cya in two years X~x~X

Just arrived home on Sunday after 2 weeks at this hotel Planos Bay is excellent but Yannis' measures of Vodka are deadly! My husband & I travelled with our 3 kids and we hope to be back in October. All the staff are friendly and helpful, First Choice kids clubs are excellent as is Anna the swimming instructor. Would highly recommend this hotel

If you are thinking about booking here please go right ahead...you WILL be glad you did!! This place is fanstastic! I can guarantee you that!! We have just arrived back from a wonderful time at Planos Bay with 3 children aged 9,7 & 1! The reps are excellent, the hotel is excellent, the kids clubs are excellent, Yannis (who runs the pool bar) & colleagues are excellent, really funny, friendly & serve great food & drink at very reasonable prices!! The resort of Tsivili is excellent and the island is absolutely beautiful!!!

We have just returned from an brilliant holiday at the Planos Bay, and must say Yannis, Thespina, Memis and Ilias who run the bars go out of their way to be helpful and friendly, the snacks are excellent, and the BBQ and Greek nights are not to be missed. We had 3 children with us ages ranging from 11 - 14, there was plenty for them to do, met lots of friends, and did not want to return to sunny Birmingham!! Ammommodation, Pool, astro turf, and weather, was good, and all added up to an excellent holiday.
