My kingdom for a Camelot
Well what can I say! A brilliant patch of heaven in a brilliant place! We were met by Nina at the door late at night who was bubbly and friendly (I will add not a feigned friendly but genuine friendly!) and took some time to ensure we sat down, relaxed and had a quick glass of wine to toast our safe travel and entry to Camelot. Thereafter we were shown our rooms and left to settle in. In the morning we were shown to a very cool and pleasant dining area and given what was to become the most delicious and fresh food we were to... more
Loved the Camelot and Nina
Just got back from Rhodes and already I am missing the Camelot Hotel and Nina. The Camelot is more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel. I went with my parents, and we stayed in the room with the loft. It was so charming and very clean. The bathroom (esp the shower) was very small, but manageable. Nina's breakfasts are the best, she keeps bringing out more food until you insist you are full. Thank you to all the reviewers who recommended the Camelot. I will definitely be going back.
Loved it
This is a very nice hotel close to everything in Rhodes. We stayed with our 15 month old son there for a couple of days. We all enjoyed it a lot. The rooms are very charming, though the ones looking to the narrow street can be quite noisy, as the night life (even in October) can last till 3 in the morning. The owner, Nina is a wonderful person. She gave us all kinds of tips. The restaurants she advised were just perfect. Also she arranged a rent a car for us, simple and fast. We loved Camelot.
Loved this little Camelot
Our family of three recently spent a week at the Camelot Hotel. It was immaculate, friendly and in a perfect location near restaurants, shopping and the ferry to Turkey. The large greek-style breakfast was perfect to get us through a busy morning. We loved this little hotel and Nina is wonderful!
Charming hotel
We stayed at the Camelot last May based on Trip Advisor reviews and were not disappointed. The owner, Nina, is incredibly warm and knowledgeable about Rhodes. She has renovated and modernized a historic building in the middle of the old town of Rhodes in a very tasteful way. There are three rooms of different sizes, each with its own (fairly new) bathroom. The hotel is very clean, charming, and comfortable. Great location for exploring the old city. Highly recommended.
A real gem!
We'd love to keep this little gem all to ourselves but this special hotel and its owner Nina are such a delight we really should share them. Perfectly situated in the Old Rhodes Town, history surrounds you at every turn. Despite the central location the hotel was tranquil and calming, and no doubt has a story of its own to tell for sure. The rooms were sparkling clean with the usual basic creature comforts and the breakfast to die for kept hunger at bay until well after lunchtime. Nina and her hotel made our trip one that we... more
Look No Further...
We stayed at the Camelot Hotel for, sadly, only a couple of days, but, this was a highlight in our trip. Nina made us feel like family. She gave us great suggestions including a delicious and nicely priced dinner. If you shower in the evening, let Nina know so that she can turn up the hot water. The incredible location is a few steps to the old town center and old town sites. This adorable hotel is clean, comfortable and actually inside the medieval wall. We highly recommend the Camelot Hotel.
Excellent small traditional hotel
Located in historic old town of rhodes this is an excellent traditional hotel - building is 500 years old but has been renovated much more recently!! Found via internet and booked directly with the hotel. Think there are only three rooms. It was an easy walk from the port entrance of the medieval city. Located in a quiet street a few steps away from the main street in the medieval city - so close but still quiet. The room was nice with a kitchenette and toilet. Provision of toiletries was a little tight. Nina the owner was... more
Fantastic Little Camelot
Clean, supremely well positioned and reasonably priced is the name of the game with this little gem. Ms Nina, the owner, is very friendly and all the rooms are clean and well appointed. We even had a little kitchen in our room. Highly recommended.
Loved it!
After deciding going on holiday to Rhodes, we were looking for a small picturesque hotel in the old Town of Rhodes. And we were spot on. The Old Town of Rhodes is a medieval beautifully preserved city with amazing architecture and excellentpath-streets with arches and sandy colours. Camelot Hotel was next to the main square of the old town, close to the sea gate, but well appointed away from all the noise. We found the hotel over the internet, just by chance and we booked over the online form ([--]). The owner was very helpful (Mrs... more
