Spot Hotel

This is a very nice, family-run hotel in the Rhodes old town. The room was good-sized, clean, quiet and comfortable. The location is convenient to anything and everything in the old town. We got a nice breakfast in the garden. Lee, the owner, was very helpful and generous with his time. Because it was the only direct filght from Crete to Rhodes -- that I could find -- we landed at 11:00 pm. We have been lucky enough to stay in many "top end" hotels and admit to having been a little sceptical about staying in such a small, no frills hotel. For this trip we wanted to stay in the old town and booked The Spot Hotel for its great location and after having read the numerous positive remarks placed on this site. We are so glad we did. We were very happy at the Spot Hotel. It is right in the middle of everything interesting. It is very clean and very quiet. And the owner, Lee, was very helpful directing us to excellent restaurants, things to do, cars to rent, etc. I recommend wholeheartedly.

We stayed here in October 2005 and thoroughly enjoyed it.The pension is situated in an ideal locaton within the Old Town. The rooms are a nice size, with a bar fridge and en-suite. The owner is very helpful and we even got to enjoy him playing the electrical guitar - though its NEVER at an unreasonable time.

If you've just arrived on the ferry from Turkey and you need a hotel in Rhodes Old Town, the Spot Hotel is for you. These were absolutely the cleanest rooms we had on our entire trip. This tiny hotel, situated on a tiny street in Old Town, can be easily found from the ferry dock in five minutes. If you haven't been to the city of Rhodes you should keep in mind that it really is two places. The vast majority of tourists stay in large beachfront hotels outside the ancient city walls and visit the old city only on day trips. If you're interest is primarily beach related activities then the Spot is not you're place. I stayed at this wonderful hotel in July 2005. I can't begin to tell you what an excellent stay it was. Perfect location! Inside castle walls; perfectly nestled for a peaceful nights sleep, yet steps away from all shops, sites and restaurants, the best Old Town has to offer. Rooms are absolutely SPOTLESS! Cozy, quiet and so very comfortable, which was a plus being so far from home. I stumbled out of the night after being stuffed around by the airlines and the owner/manager introduced me to a clean, comfortable room, reasonable rates and supplied my every information need about the island. Fantastic location (in the Old Town, near the port and the action) and a quite location. Thanks mate for looking a travel weary Aussie.

Spot Hotel is in relatively quiet location. Very close to port if you need overnight stay. Beautiful clean rooms. If you happen to go to Rhodes (and you'd need to be desparate to go there!) it is a haven in chaos.

This hotel is located within the Midevil Castle; close to everything you need! My brother and sister in law came across this hotel online....what a perfect pick! Lee made us feel very welcome; anything we needed it was done! Lee is a very socialable person; quite a few nights that we were there we sat with him in the lounge area for a drink before dinner.
