AC Sants

I booked this hotel through lastminute.com for a long weekend city break to Barcelona. I cannot fault this hotel. The staff were great, spoke perfect English and very welcoming. The room itself was fantastic, the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept on and the shower was brilliant. The room is completely open plan, apart from the WC, however a dividing mirror slightly seperates the bathroom area from the bedroom itself. We loved the hotel but the stay was marred by having my handbag stolen from under my feet in the hotel breakfast room.

I have just returned from a 3 night stay in this hotel and I feel compelled to write this review. The service from the hotel reception staff that I got was simply superb. The rooms were clean and very stylish.The free mini bar is a nice touch and very useful. The location was spot on-bang in front of Barcelona's main train station. Everything clicked about this hotel.I am so glad I stayed there as it made the holiday so stress free.

I thought the location was quite good, I found it really useful being right next to the Train Station where the metro was located inside. The room was clean and was cleaned daily. A really nice touch I found was the free mini bar, which is very useful just grabbing a bottle of water on your way out and have a cold drink waiting for you when I got back. I stayed here during a business trip, where the customer was located in Sabadell, so location close to the rail station was excellent. Sadly that also ment some distance to get to restaurants in the evening. The hotel was nice. Very new and modern, but already showing some signs of aging here and there. The breakfast was typical Spanish, but in a good way. Also the staff was nice and spoke good English. They advertice a free minibar in the rooms, but don't get fooled, all it means is 3 soft drinks in a fridge, which they don't... more

I used Lastminute.com's anonymous hotel finder, where they don't tell you where you're staying until you've booked, to choose this hotel. Given the facilities, it sounded great and indeed was fine for what it was. AC Sants is right next to thet station, very convenient for travelling from the airport and with the metro in place to get around the city. Very good position for arrive from the airport and trips to the centre as well.Rooms very clean,modern,nice staff Unusualy built shower,right in the room,separated only with black plexiglass Overall I would recommend this hotel for stay to anybody
