Catalonia Port

I was very happy with my selection of this hotel after reaading reviews on TripAdvisor. The rooms are small, but more than enough room for two of us. The bathrooms are all granite and marble - VERY clean. Free internet in your room was a nice plus. Flat screen TVs. We had a cute balcony that overlooked the street - it was not noisy at night at all. Very short walk to La Rambla and a metro station. Beautiful small hotel 31 rooms beautifully appointed with many ammenities. Wish I could have stayed longer, but was going on a cruise. Newly opened less than 1 year. Easy access to Hop-On/Hop-Off bus stop, restaurants, shops, banks. One block off Las Ramblas and the waterfront. We went for a long weekend break and were surprised to find a lovely clean hotel with a spacious room, large wet room shower and bathroom, good aircon for the hot evenings. We didn't eat there so can't comment on any food, although the restaurant looked perfectly adequate. The location is a stones throw from the Ramblas and close to the port. Also it is easy to get over to the rest of the Gothic part to the bars and tapas houses which have a great array of styles. The beach is a 10-15 minute easy walk away.The staff were all very helpful.... more

We cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel. It is a new hotel and everything is extremely high quality. We had 1 single and 3 double rooms all with great beds, bathrooms, flat screen TVs and full-length balcony windows that overlooked the courtyard or the street. What a lovely hotel, we were in the suite and would recommend it totally, hot tub, beautiful views we would def stay there again. The only thing that let it was the fact it had no tea/ coffee fac however close enough to just nip down to the cafe and get one. Great location and staff were brilliant and very very friendly.

Very good location, close to everything and especially Ramblas. Bedroom was standard, clean but vthe iew was on a court in front of another bedroom (you could see the neighbour inside his bedroom). Staff at reception was really cold and even not nice with all the people. If you need something, don't ask them ! Breakfast was not included in the price and 30min before closing, there was not much to eat which is really incredible. What a great place this turned out to be! After walking off the main high street onto a small road we found the tiny doorway to the hotel. You wouldn't expect to find it along this road but once you're inside it's a world apart. Very pleasant staff and in a great location right next to the harbour, shops, restaurants. The rooms were modern and fitted to a high standard with an enormous TV and the double glazed windows helped to keep any street noise out in the day and the room cooler at night. The hotel was fantastic and the staff were very helpful! Our room had a balcony at the front of the hotel and overlooked the street below, where there was a great buzz about the area! Our room was spacious and very clean and the bathroom had a huge shower which was very powerful! We could have had breakfast in the hotel which was offering a 2 for 1 deal, 2 breakfasts for €8 but we didn't take advantage of this offer because we wanted to walk the city and try breakfast in different places each morning. Great value for money. If yout want a three star hotel near Ramblas let it be this one. Clean, cool en quiet!

Very convenient location - not far from Las Ramblas but on a fairly quiet street. Our room was at the back of the building and was very peaceful. Room modern, stylish & comfortable - large bathroom with huge shower (plumbing a bit noisy though.) Pool very small but adequate for a cooling dip and it was nice to have the option of outside space. Staff friendly. Excellent value for money.
