Location and easy-going living in Marrakech
This was easily the best value of our four riad stays in Morocco. Aside from a barely-functioning air conditioner, Riad Diana did everything well. It had all the key components of a good riad--good service, great decor, fine breakfast, terrace for roof-gazing, not to mention a downright chilly plunge pool, its own hammam and great location on a main drag to the Jemaa el Fna. The room (a triple) had plenty of space for three adults. The bathroom was huge. Due to its location in the building, it was a little dark, but it gave the illusion... more
It was one of the best expiriences of my life
To be in Marrakech was one of the best expiriences of my life it was all very different from all the things that I had seen before (from the places I had visited) but it was all very magic. My time in the riat was very quiet, relaxed and pleasured. I am very satisfied from this riat: the place, the bedroom, the service...the people form the riat take care of us and were very resposable and friendly with us. We made a lot of friends in Marrakech. I would recomend this riat to stay in Marrakech.Ahmed and Aziza were the nicest people from the... more
Great stay in an excellent Riad
Although this Riad is hard to find, I could not whish a better place to stay in Marrakech. The rooms are tidy, the breakfast is great, the centre of the city is just a 5 minutes walk away but the best thing of Riad Diana is the staff. Very friendly, helpful and they are happy to show you everything (Younes even arranged a taxi for us and walked for us to the store). An absolute lovely stay in a great city. If I would go to Marrakech again, I would certainly book Riad Diana.
great hospitality in a charming place
Very helpfull and friendly staff (we travelled with 2 little children) Nice, well decorated room, great view, lovely breakfast and dinner on the roof terrace Great fresh Morrocan food, made with love by Aziza, la cuisiniere We will certainly return and recommend this charming riad to others!!!
Welcoming and in a good location
This Riad was a pleasure to return to after battling the chaos of the medina for the two days we stayed. Although tricky to find, it was worth it when we did. Beware children who enjoy taking tourists on fruitless searches for accommodation for money. The staff were warm and friendly. The rooms beautifully decorated and clean. It is a short enough walk to the main square though beware of the mopeds and wayward cyclists. The staff were friendly and helpful and more than accommodating, providing us with glasses and ice for our own drinks... more
A little piece of heaven!
What an amazing little place this is from the little pool and the courtyard to the roof-top terrace and sunset drinks! We were warmly welcomed by everyone, nothing was too hard or a bother. The staff were kind and helpful and even organised a guide for us one afternoon. Thank you for an unforgettable stay in Marrakech!
Excellent Riad with great staff and food
Riad Diana is a very nice recent modernisation of a traditional Riad building close the the centre of town. We use their "arrival" service (met at the airport, even after the 2 hours it took queuing to enter the country) which meant the location hidden away in a side alley was not a problem. The staff Ahmed and Aziza were really helpful and the highlight of our stay was the "private dinner for 4" which they prepared for us, to a very high standard, with multiple starters and traditional main course - excellent variety and quality.
A work in progress...
This riad has been open for only 3 month which perhaps explains and mitigates our experience. The charming German owner of Riad Karina should be pleased with the aesthetic result of his latest venture and is clearly committed to making his mark. We booked late and manged to secure a double room with with terrace on the roof. Although, this roo was very much smaller than the downstairs rooms, we welcomed and enjoyed almost exclusive use of a tranquil terrace and newly installed "marquis" The friendly staff are an undoubted asset though... more
Fantastic Riad
Myself and sister stayed in Riad Diana for 5 nights in February. It is quite difficult to find (tucked away in a side street) but everything else was perfect. The staff were fantastic, so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Its worth staying there just for that!! The rooms and riad are both beautiful. Everything was spotless. We even had rose pettles put on are bed and in the shower daily. We dined in the riad and the food was just superb, much better quality and value than anything else in the local area. The location is great, a 2... more
