Just returned from a week staying at the Pefkos Beach Hotel and already want to go back. Booked the Holiday through Thomson’s who were brilliant from start to finish.
This Hotel is very clean, modern, has all the facilities you need as well as having very friendly and helpful staff. Our apartment was situated at the very top of the hill, and when walking out on to the balcony the view was breathtaking, well worth the climb. For the less able there is now a new lift being installed.
The hotel is situated near enough at the centre of all the conveniences, and only a few minutes walk from the beach. I would also recommend the eclipse bar, which is like nothing I have seen before.

Just returned from Pefkos Beach Hotel after a week there with my parents. Absolutely fantastic! The room was spacious, clean! The staff were fantastic, friendly, willing to help you and just great fun, they really do make the hotel.
As a young female going out in Pefkos itself with friends i made there it felt so safe at night. I found it big enough to have a fantastic night, without having people and idiots everywhere and near enough to places such as Faliraki and Lindos. I am returning in October this year with some girls i met there!
I would highly recommend it to families, couples, groups - everyone! Fantastic, thank you to the Mingos family for making this holiday my best yet. x

We recently returned from a 2 week holiday in Pefkos, and we loved it so much we are returning in September.
We simply could not fault the resort, the hotel, the staff or the room. We had a truly amazing time and were very sorry to leave indeed.
The staff, George, Christos, the Mingos and pretty much everyone else working at the Pefkos beach were fantastic, kind, welcoming and a lot of fun. They are an absolute credit to the hotel and the hotel is by far the best we have stayed in. We had fantastic views from our apartment - which was spacious, air conditioned and fully equipped for our 2 week stay.
I would recommend this to anyone, families, couples friends its perfect.

Just got back from 2 weeks at Pefkos Beach. One of the best hols ever had.
The great heat wave was on, and averaged 47 C (124 F) and on Saturday reached 144 F on the bay road.
Other than being hot, tried all the restaurants along the high street, and value for money/quality better than UK, overall prices better, staff politeness better, cleanliness better.
Hotel had good Nostalgia restaurant, although the one opposite Enigma is classier and higher quality.
End of town, Pefkos By Night Bar, is best cold air conditioned bar, with roast beef, York pud Sunday lunch, and even black pudding with the breakfast. All bars Greek run although cater heavily for Brits with full English menu.
Liked it so much, probably back next year looking to buy villa in Pefkos.

After reading all the fantastic comments about this hotel we were not disappointed at all! This hotel is fantastic! It’s just like one big happy family.
The Mingos family are very warm and welcoming! All the staff made our holiday - they worked so hard and always with a smile even joining us for drinks on several occasions, many new friends were made there - excellent!!
The hotel itself is immaculate!! A very warm welcome from ray and Athena on reception when we arrived. Yes, it is situated on a very steep hill, but after reading about this on several occasions we were ready for this.
Our room was situated on the highest part of the hill. After the initial walk up with the cases we thought we were in for a bit of trouble, but one the curtains were drawn and we saw the view it made it all worthwhile, it was spectacular! Directly looking over the sea and the whole of Pefkos itself.
The room were very very clean and modern and well equipped with kettle, toaster, and 2 ring electric hobs, pots and pans, cutlery, fridge/freezer, and ice cube trays.
the maid cleaned Monday to Saturday with Sunday being her day off, always friendly and with a smile.
The staff at the palm cocktail bar were excellent! Like old friends by the time we left, so accommodating. Their relationship with you was very personal down to having your drinks ready as soon as you walked in the bar; it made it even more special and always remembering names!
Getting to know everyone whilst having drinks left some amazing memories and very funny stories!
The small pool bar is very popular in the late evening and the staff there were fantastic also - if not very cheeky indeed!
The two pools were always clean and tidy. There was always the nice amount of people around to have a good time without it getting too crowded. Sun beds were a plenty and umbrella in between every 2 beds.
The nostalgia restaurant was incredible, so much food, so little time. The staff were always on hand, very fast and friendly. Always a hello from everybody and everyone remembered names!
Directly across the road was the enigma restaurant, from the outside it looks divine and inside is just as good!! The food was amazing - very large portions indeed!
There is a decent sized supermarket directly next door to the hotel which is run by the mother, selling everything you could possibly want to buy and for very good value (everything from Tetley’s tea bags to pot noodles!)
Lindos is only a short 5 minute taxi drive and cost €6. It’s a definite must as the views from the top on the hill is breath taking. The small beach surrounding st Paul’s church is also a must and great for snorkelling.
There are plenty small boutique shops selling the most beautiful gifts and presents.
There is not one single thing I can find to fault this holiday as a whole, so fantastic infact that I will be booking to visit again in October as I can’t actually explain to my friend how fantastic it was!
The hotel deserves to be 5 stars for sure! If not for the hotel itself and its grounds but for the staff there. Word's can't explain the experience. I would recommend it 110%!!
Many thanks to them all ... Costas, Phillip, Michael, George, hillier, brothers Thanasi and mad Michael from the palm bar! Hilarious!!! All the staff in nostalgia and the rest of the team! A fantastic bunch of people - a true asset!
A definite must for anyone visiting Rhodes!

Picked this hotel based on reviews and was not disappointed. Could not fault at all.
Exceptionally clean, rooms very spacious, staff went out of their way to help, restaurant, pool bar, pools all brilliant. Can't wait to go back.
Resort lovely and quiet but not dead. Lots of bars restaurants to choose from - blue bay, terpsis 2 of the best. Glass bottom boat trip to Lindos is a must.

We stayed at the Pefkos Beach Hotel in July/Aug 2006, I have to admit it was one of the best holidays we have had.
We were bed and breakfast which as you know are very basic in Greece; however there was plenty to keep you going till lunch.
We were at the top of the hill which was at first a massive struggle especially at night after a few Metaxas and Mythos, by the end of the hols we were just getting use to it, the view from our room was fantastic and the hike up there was well worth it .
The resort of Pefkos is low key but there is everything there you need whether its traditional bars or the all nighters.
Restaurants were also very good, we had a good meal at all we went to except Zorbas which we went to on opening night price and quality not as good as others.
The cocktail bar at the hotel was excellent, we spent most evenings there until early hours and I must say had an excellent time.
We are going back this year and are staying at the Pefkos Beach cant wait.

I am a single parent, rapidly reaching my midlife crisis, and I took my 2 daughters of 11 and 14 to Rhodes for one week. Not long been back. Pefkos Beach Hotel is great value for money.
Not suitable for some people due to the steep hills and dodgy road to get to some of the accommodation. Breakfast was very basic, but the rooms and staff were 4 stars :)
Our room was fantastic with a maid service everyday.
Very good value to eat out, car hire was cheap, £35 all in for 3 days, plus petrol.
Lovely views, and the seven springs was very nice.
Glass bottom boat booked privately was the girl’s best event with a swim in the sea off the boat as well. Had a couple of great storms whilst we were there.
Thomson staff as reliable as ever, and were very helpful.
Highly recommended.

We have just got back from one week in Rhodes at the Pefkos Beach Hotel. Our party consisted of 3 adults and two kids, aged 7 and 5.
This was the best holiday ever!
The people were nice and friendly, restaurants were great, lovely food at a good cost.
Our apartments were around the pool and were very clean and modern. Lovely balcony too. Maid came every day and changed bed and towels every other. we were lucky to be by the pool there is a very steep hill up to the other apartments which we did not venture up but I am sure it would of been ok, just a short sharp burst!!
I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday by the pool, we travelled in October and only had one wet day. The rest of the week was averaging the high 20's.
The only problem? One week was not enough!

Just returned from a week’s holiday during September 2006, staying at the Pefkos beach hotel. It was a late booking and both I and my boyfriend were unsure what to expect, having never been to Greece before. However we were both pleasantly surprised as the hotel was in a great location of the Pefkos, and the view from our balcony was amazing.
The staff were lovely, and always spent time to have a chat and and laugh. The barman at the hotel was entertaining to say the least and even taught us some Greek whilst out there. The rooms are very clean and basic, but for the price that we paid we thought was very reasonable.
The locals are also very friendly, we ate at Smiles, the Greek house, Nostalgia and many others all are very reasonably priced, and are only a few minutes walk from the hotel.
So many bars to choose from 'The Fuse' is great and the staff are wonderful. 'The wild west' bar is also a great night out, and you can be sure to be included in all their fun.
Try the water sports as they were amazing, and you get such a great view of the beach and surrounding hillside.
Lindos is a great place to visit, and you get a real taste for the quaint little shops.
Both I and my boyfriend are coming back next year, for two weeks as we enjoyed it that much.
If you’re looking for a hotel near all the shops and restaurants with a friendly bunch of staff, the Pefkos beach hotel is the place to stay. 10 out 10 all round.

My boyfriend and I (both 23) went to the Pefkos Beach Hotel this month for 2 weeks to get away from the stresses of Uni before we both started for our final years and this hotel and resort were perfect for this.
Our first impression of the hotel was that it looked like the nicest hotel in the resort and was immaculately clean! We chose to stay in one of the self catering rooms (room 504). Our room was perfect; very clean all brand new furniture and kitchen equipment and had everything we could want. There was a small kitchen space with fridge, hob, sink, kettle, toaster and lots of cupboard space and all the kitchen equipment we needed to cook basic food. Then off the kitchen was a large room with a double sofa bed and storage, then though the double doors was the main bedroom which had 2 single beds, loads of storage and mirrors and a large TV with sky channels! There was also a large terrace which looked out into gardens and had then sun from about 2pm until sunset!
All the staff were very helpful and were more than happy to advise about local attractions, buses etc.
The hotel had its own restaurant, pool bar and shop on site which was excellent. We didn’t rate the restaurant but it depends what you like. The food felt mass produced and was quantity over quality was compared to other restaurants was expensive for what it was (3 courses each and a bottle of wine was 65 Euros, cheap but not in comparison)
We spent a few days at the pool when we couldn’t be bothered moving very far which was nice as it was a quiet time of year so wasn’t too busy but the horrendous music wasn’t too good when you are trying to relax (lots of George Michael and "golden oldies!") but it was very clean and warm and had lots of free lilos for everyone to lol out on. Also, there was always lots of free sunloungers (there are 2 main pools and a lovely kid’s pool).
The resort overall was great for what we wanted as there was a lot of restaurants (some excellent ones and some not so good ones!), a cake and coffee shop across the road from the hotel, had 4 great beaches (8Euro a day for 2 loungers and an umbrella) and wasn’t too far from the busier resort of Lindos (6Euros in a taxi or 1.20E on the bus) and meant we could just chill out, eat, relax and recoup from the last 5 years at Uni!
The only down sides to the hotel were that we didn’t realise A/C would be extra at a cost of 110E for the 2 weeks which we couldn’t have lived without and the beds were 2 singles pushed together which we had the tendency to slip down the middle of and slid apart in the night!
I would recommend this hotel to families and people looking to get away from it all!

Got back a couple of days ago and on reflection have to say that as package holidays go, this was top rank. We were a party of 4 adults and 3 teenagers, and none of us have anything to complain about from our holiday.
Thomsons were their usual professional selves from start to finish; particular mention must be made of the gentle and relaxing coach transfers, thanks to driver Yannis.
The weather was incredibly hot, and surprisingly humid. In fact it was almost too hot to sunbathe on the beach, and watch the sand when walking from your lounger to the sea, as you'll be hopping like a gecko by the time you get to the water!
The restaurants were all good, the occasional duff meal was served, but we didn't collectively have any bad dining experiences. The best we thought were Enigma, Oasis (for brunch), and good value was had at Zorbas and also the excellent Lindos Cuisine (ate there twice).
The only restaurant we'd not go back to was Coliseum; the food was very average at top end prices! However, you will find that most restaurants make minor errors, and the service is generally quite pedestrian. But it can be lived with. Blame the heat!
All of the staff at the hotel itself were great, from the entertaining and genuinely friendly bar staff to the super efficient and seemingly invisible maids!
One recommendation to anyone visiting is to maybe take plenty of cash (Euro or £, the hotel will exchange or the travel shop en route to the beach). The reason for this is that we all had problems with the temperamental ATM's in Pefkos (all 2 of them), and also the ones we used in Lindos. Just make sure you hire a safe to stash the cash!
Summing up I'd say it was a really relaxing and satisfying holiday, which we all thoroughly enjoyed. 2 weeks next time, we all think! Very hot, good food and drink and safe from the drunken yobs (selves excluded)!
Will be back!
