My best holiday todate

This is one of the best hotels i haved stayed in for many reasons. The service was spot on the staff were fantastic, helpful and friendly and very polite. There is a lovely walkway on the seafront which takes you tothe harbor with lovely views or you can catch a bus outside the hotel for only 1 euro and only takes 10 mins.My room had everthing i needed as i was inclusive i had tea coffee and also the the fridge was refilled everyday with cold drinks. The bathroom was clean and modern, only the tv let the room down if you need more pillows just phone and they will provide them for you nothing is to much trouble. The food is plentiful there is something there for everyone what ever your tasteyou would have to be a very fussy eater not to like anything on show. The entertainment was first class during the day and night. The night entainment was that good with bingo quizzies and shows and drinks on tap that i never ventured outo t of the hotel. The poolside bar staff were great always ready to fetch your drinks.During the day there was no need to get up early to reserve a sunbed they were plentiful around the pool and also in the pretty gardens.I loved everything about this hotel i get bored but not here.Ihad a won de
rful time and can not wait until my next visit.

Returned from a week at the Loius Imperial last week.
This is a truly lovely Hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful without being at all pushy.
The bedroom was immaculate, as were all the public areas.
The food was restuarant standard ever night.
This is not really a hotel to go to if you want a busy, "entertained" holiday and I would also say it did have a high percentage of older people there.
However, if you want a week in the sun, lovely food and peace- this is the hotel to go for.
I would definately recommend it.

I have just returned from 12 days in the hotel, where there was a number of issues that concerned me...
1. the fire alarms in the corridoor and in the bedroom dont exist
2. the minibar was not once restocked in the entire 12 days
3. the television was so bad, the channel are virtually all in german, despite the fact that everybody in the hotel is english. All there is, is skynews and the reception of it is poor quality.
4. the towels in the bathroom are really small
5. the lifts are a nightmare, you end up waiting about 5 -10 minutes to get in one
6. there was a leak from the ceiling of one corridoor
7. the gym is not even a gym, there is NO treadmill, and there is a small room with about 3 or 4 broken cycling machines
8. the sauna doesnt work at all
9. the jacuzzi isn't hot, its just normal swimming pool temperature with a few bubbles
10. the kids club is located IN the reception area
11.getting a sunbed is really difficult
12. the beach isnt actually a beach, its a tiny strip of pebbley sand, with the hotels sunbed, about 6 of them.
13. the entertainment is so crap, its basically just bingo, and a bit of 'cabaret'.
14 you only get to change your towel every 3 days
15. the milkshakes are too milky
16.even though everyone in the restaurant is wearing flipflops, you are not allowed to wear shorts
17. the food in the restaurant is pretty much the same every night, but they just call it a different theme
18. in the hotel shop, they always only had the sun newspaper nothing else
19. mosquitos
20. the outdoor showers didnt work for about one week
21. you cant go in the swimming pool at night after 7
22. theres no light on the balcony

Have spent two weeks at the Imperial and would recommend this to anyone. The Hotel and rooms were very comfortable and the food you would find difficult not to be impressed. The staff from cleaners to General Manager all were smiling and very friendly. Most notable were the entertainment staff particular mention to Chris who arranged the "Stretchy Stretchy and Water Aerobics and generally made everyone enjoy their holiday so much more. JaJa who is such a live wire and got people involved and lead by Sandros who made it all most enjoyable.
Get down early to reserve a sunbed in a prime spot (just outside the indoor pool is favourite) relax in the sun in the morning and use the afternoon to go native and have a doze.
Drinks are as expensive as the UK so check out happy hour before dinner and after 10.45pm

We stayed at Imperial Beach for 10 nights for our honeymoon in october. The weather was lovely. Nice and hot but not too hot. Hotel was lovely and we would stay there again. Had a pool & sea view and was upgraded to double bed, with fruit and wine on arrival.
As well as an outdoor pool there is an indoor one so you can have a quieter swim.
The harbour is about 25 min walk along the beach front, but on a very hot day a would recommend getting the bus. The bus stop is almost outside the hotel.
The food was nice in the hotel and it had a theme night every night. We recommend the mexican night. The fajitas were gorgeous. We did not eat in the hotel every night as there are plenty of nice restaurants and bars around. I also reocommend pancakes for breakfast! We went half board - breakfast & evening meal, but on the days where we had a meal out then we could have lunch at the hotel instead.
The only drawback was that it only had a small shingle beach so we had to walk for about 10 min to a nice cove. Also we wouldn't stay longer than 10 nights unless going on several trips.
We would definately recommend this hotel to people and if we were to to to Paphos again then we would definately stay there.

Although the Hotel was nice,it was so expensive, and the entertainment was pathetic to say the least. Its more suitable for Senior Citizens who only go for peace and relaxation, but everything is too expensive.

Just returned from the Louis Imperial Hotel Paphos. Hotel absolutely fantastic, food out of this world, with an excellent choice of dishes for every taste. Will ceretainly be returning to this hotel in the near future. The weather was fantastic, we wished we had gone for a fortnight. One downfall was the lack of evening entertainment, but apart from this the holiday was perfect.

Stayed here for two weeks. The food was excellent. I'm quite a fussy eater and certainly didn't starve - the desserts are fantastic.
We had booked a sea view room, but on arrival discovered that we were actually over the top of the main entrance which faces the road. We had no problem swapping rooms and the staff were apologetic. As it was our anniversary we received fruit and a bottle of bubbly.
The room was spotlessly clean
The staff were very helpful.
Many trips can be booked through the reps - would recommend Kykkos Monastery. We also went over to Egypt. you can either go on a cruise for a few days (but don't get a rebate on the meals you have already paid for in the hotel), or you can fly over for the day. We chose this option which costed about £200 for 2 of us. It is a very long day as they picked us up anout 5.30am and we returned at about 2am the next day. Breakfast was provided in the hotel, but was only bread and cooked meats - cereal or toast would have been nice. You do get fed on the plane - both ways - and you have a buffet lunch in a 5 star hotel opposite the pyramids and then have a buffet at night on the boat trip along the Nile. Very enjoyable, but be prepared for people trying to sell you things when you go to the pyramids and the Sphinx.
Nice walk into the harbour (about 20 minutes) and we also walked back from the Tombs of the Kings and the market - though it did take about an hour. There is a regular bus service to all these places and they are really cheap.
The only downside I found was that I expected it to be more Greek! It is in fact very English which is great if you want that, but if you want a more Greek holiday go to Greece!
Overall, really enjoyed it. Excellent facilities - on site shop, lovely gardens, plenty of sunbeds and room to move them ( at Alexander the Great they are allocated on arrival and are chained together). The entertainment was a bit lacking at the hotel, but there are plenty of bars around.
We also received a jar of marmalade in our room on the next to last day as a goodbye present, which I though was a nice touch.
Not sure if I will return to Cyprus, but if I do I will definitely stay here again and would certainly recommend it.
Will probably suit both couples and families as there is a small playground with swings, etc.
The standard rule of men wearing long trousers to dinner applies and is strictly enforced - someone hadn't taken any with him and was turned way, so had to borrow his friend's.
