Wyndham Garden Hotel - Times Square South

My husband and I stayed at the wyndham in NYC on 12/15 to see the tree, do some shopping and look around. The hotel was fantastic. Great service, great food, and the rooms were very well put together. Very clean and neat. The service was quite exceptional as well. The staff was very attentive and professional. I would definitely reccomend this hotel to anyone looking to visit Manhattan.

Ice buckets-but no ice in the ice machines. They advertise room service, but once you get here, there is no room service. I've been here for two nights, and both nights, I arrived back here at around 5:00. The room had not yet been cleaned on both occasions (housekeepers are having to clean 15-18 rooms each per day, which is ridiculous!!!). Still has paint fumes. NBC will not pull up on the TV. Staff is friendly and the rooms are nice. I just hope they work out the kinks soon. This hotel opened before it was truly ready.

This Wyndaham Garden has just opened. I usaually stay in midprice hotels on business, but this one looks and feels really upscale, the spacious wood paneled lobby with plenty of seating and internet access was great for working ouside the room. They have a really cool bar and suprisingly good resataurant in an all glass "greenhouse" that looks and feels like a garden. We booked this with some trepidation as we knew it would only be open a fortnight before we were due to arrive. We were delighted to find on arrival that, allthough their sign outside is still a PVC banner, the hotel is 99% complete and finished to a very high standard. The design is tastefully modern and our room was very comfortable and well-equipped. I was in NYC for business last week and needed to stay near Madison Square Garden and the Convention Center. Knowing that Wyndham provides good quality at a fair price I decided to try this new hotel. Although some services were not quite ready (the restaurant, for example, was not yet open), the hotel is beautiful, chic, upbeat, and clean. Having stayed at various hotels around the country I found this hotel to be among the best. The staff was overly help with any request that I had and eager to please. The restaurant while only open for breakfast was wonderful, and offer an organic menu, which is a great health benifit. I just cannot say enough about this place.

My husband and I stayed there this past weekend. The place is absolutely GORGEOUS and HUGE! The compex is also new, so that was extra great :) The people there were SO nice and helpful. We were new to the area, and they helped us plan our time there. I would recommend this hotel to everyone that goes.

Just spent two nights at this new hotel - our first night there was actually the opening night. Granted - there were a few bugs to get out - lack of heat for quite a few hours, missing keys, cash register issues. BUT - our room was brand new, clean, well organized - nice bath, huge shower, great TV - everything one could want, although tight space - as NYC tends to be.
