Veranda Resort and Spa

My girlfriend wanted to stay here because Thai celebs stay here. Compared to American prices, it was a total steal. Same price as a Holiday Inn. And this was right on the ocean. I agree, that the decor in the room was fabulous, the restaurant and bar was great, beautiful, loved the pool and I walked everyday by the ocean. Also got massages every day on the beach. For a very cheap price. Took the shuttle into Hua Hin for some shopping. I would go back to Veranda resort any time. Loved it.

Magical - This resort is beautiful. It took 2 hrs to get there via private car from Bangkok and along the way you wonder where are we going but once you get there it's beautiful. The resort has lovely meals all day, the pool area is so relaxing, the day spa is gorgeous and well worth a visit. The beach is clean and so quiet. No noise and it's a great getaway resort and especially perfect for honeymooners. We have stayed 7 days here and can recommend the property to couples, singles best. Service was prompt and without problems. The rooms are nice, big and well designed. We received a upgrade to Executive Suite as Veranda@Sea-Rooms were fully booked without charge. These have room no. 125 or 126 on the ground floor. They have only two of them. Wow... Of all the places we stayed on our 2 months in Thailand this was the best value for money. We paid the extra for an ocean view which was worth it, the other rooms look over a pond to other rooms so aren't so private. The rooms are simple, painted concrete floors etc, but lovely with good beds TV and wifi. Breakfast is fantastic. Outstandind architecture, great place to relax and recreate, nice swimming-pool, very beautiful rooms, excellent food. The overall concept also includes very relaxed nice music, which rounds up the international athmosphere -- you may miss a more "local" athmosphere and the Thai touch a little bit but that is the concept.

Stay here and have a superb time,it is the most amazing place we have ever stayed. We had Christmas here with our family and it was fabulous. Rooms were out of this world, staff wonderful and food excellent. Swimming pool is great, infinity pool with fountains and bubbly things to sit on. Great experience and have been back since! and will go again next time we are in Thailand and we have time.

About 20 minutes from Central Hua Hin, Cha Am is the place to go to get away from the bustle of Hua Hin and enjoy some private beach to yourself. The beach was suprisingly quiet, and big and it was dotted with local beachside restaurants and the odd peddler. The Verandah is a hotel that seems out of place amongst some of the gaudy high rise condiminiums and the big branded hotels. The Veranda is definitely built as a 5 star boutique resort. Decor is cool and basically perfect, whether it be the rooms, the restaurants, the pool, and the spa. Would highly recommend to stay at the seaview rooms though coz one can see clearly into the regular deluxe rooms if curtains are not closed. The food in the beach front restaurant is fantastic but choices are quite limited. This is a great resort tucked away from the big cities. We were a little scared when our driver drove down the roads to our hotel as we had no idea what to expect. (had not looked at the website prior to our arrival). We were surprised by the great service offered at this hotel. One of the best pools I have ever seen, along a nice beach (lots of jellyfish so avoid it). The food at the restaurants was great, and prices were very reasonable. I am torn between writing this review or keeping it a secret... Veranda Resort & Spa is simply the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The decor is stunning. Very simple and tasteful. Mostly whites with dark wood and modern furniture. We had an ocean facing room, not very big but big enough for me, husband and daughter.
