The Mirage Village Hotel

Definitely a place you can stay longer. We went there on advise of friends which live part-time in dahab and stood a month. You can credit it to the staff that We started feeling like natives after a few weeks (we stayed for 4 weeks). The morning started usually with a smile at the breakfast from the waiters Said and Naim. Mirage village, perfectly located near the beach in Dahab City, is a wonderful place to stay, to relax; to meet people; to dive and to enjoy a personal, heartful service and good food. The rooms are nicely arranged, clean and you have all facilities you need for your holiday.

This is the place that you literally will never want to leave. Even for lunch in some other place. Mirage Village is an island of tranquility and relaxation. The rooms are cozy and clean, the hot water is plenty. The tent lounge area with free Wi-Fi is a nice place to have breakfast lying on cushions with your laptop, and in the evening it is a meeting place for chart and good laugh, enjoying shisha and tea. This was the third time i have visited Mirage Village and it just keeps getting better. The staff were very friendly/helpful,and the food was great. As for mosquitoes, i've never had a problem, but be realistic,if you travel to this type of destination you must be prepared to encounter flies and mosquitoes. If you are looking for a great diving experience or just a place to chill out this is a fantastic location. Take a trip into the desert at night just to see the stars,its breathtaking. We had a week's diving holiday at Mirage Village. The place is very comfortable and homely. They are very welcoming and nothing is to small. We really enjoyed sitting in the bedouin tent at night, drinking local tea and talking with the local people. Highly recommended.............

Me and my husband stayed for 8 nights. Staff OK in general, welcomed us but got the impression from a few of the younger members that they thought I was 'available' even though they knew we were married. They tried to flirt with me and catch my eye behind my husbands back which was very insulting to us both. I didn't give them a moments notice and deliberately ignored their continued attempts to get a flirt off me which grew more and more desperate until one of them almost cried in a little boy tantrum!
