Stayed for 1 week here begining of July 2011.. hotel was in need of decoration and was a bit tired in places decor was very dark and room doors were like being in a prison but room was ok with a side sea view... room was cleaned daily as were the beds .... hotel staff were a bit blunt at times but were more interested in the eastern europeans.... food was ok but not a lot of choice plus it was never hot.. and lunchtime left overs were then used for dinner with sauces etc....a trip into Rhodes town is a must as its 4km away with a reg bus service every 15 mins or so or you can take a taxi for 8 euro... no entertainment at this hotel as you could speak of..... beach is across a busy main road and is all pebbles with coarse grit and can be very cold in the water and windy

my friend and i stayed here for 11 nights al. Anthony the night receptionist was very welcoming. the food was typical al food. there were three theme nights during our visit and they were really good. The pool side snacks not up to much but we were rarely there for them.water not served in bottles the rooms were a good size towels and sheets changed every two days..maids very friendly and helpful.take your own towels for the beach and pool.Beach across the road very rocky but loads of better beaches locally, and they charge for loungers, nice evening walk with lots of taverns offering mixed entertainment as hotel only offered two nights a week... go to Peri`s for a good cup of coffee reasonable price. We used hotel as a base it was clean and comfortable the staff in the main were friendly

Lovely hotel close to Rhodes. Good food, nice room, daily maid service. Bus stop outside hotel. Staff helpful and friendly always with a smile.
Only complaint was could do with a crossing to cross the busy road to the beach. Otherwise excellent value.
Tip: Take a travel kettle with you as I did to make tea or coffee in your room.

Just returned from two week stay at the Belair Beach it stated it was 4star the hotel and staff were dreadful. I read the reviews before booking but I think I must have been in a different hotel.
The breakfast was eggs and beans and beans and eggs. I spoke to the rep who told me the hotel was 3 star I would not recommend this hotel to any one this was the worst holiday I've had.

On a recent trip to this Hotel, we were unfortunate to book online, through Bookable Holidays, with this Hotel.
,
On arrival from the Airport, having my partner's luggage left in Gatwick before the start of our Holiday, we were greeted at reception by a very friendly member of staff, Maria, who was very helpful. However, we were not told about the Safe in our room and its availability.
We were very disappointed with our room, supposed to be a double bed but it was two singles pushed together, and a very small room and balcony, compared to the website pictures.
After settling in, we went down to the bar area, and we were looking forward to a nice drink to unwind and help us relax. The Barman, told us that we were allowed drinks from a laminated card only, and the choice was very limited to say the least. We were only allowed very limited local drinks, and Cocktails were on offer but with a premix available only and three on the choice side. The Bar area was "shabby", seats torn, and the whole area in need of a "makeover".
There was supposed to be entertainment, but this was limited to one night only of Karoke, and this was taking place on the one night we arrived, Saturday.
Breakfast was always predictable, always the same choice, Fruit juices were sugary, or watered down. The cooked breakfast was always luke warm and not very appealing at all. Again with limited choices and no labelled food.
The Swimming Pool had a Bar area, where all inclusive drinks were available, but it was the same choice as in the main Bar Area and awful.
Lunch and Dinner, were very much the same affair, and luke warm and what was left over from Lunch, often appeared at Dinner time. Limited choices again and the White Wine running out frequently.
On Thursday the 21/09/11, our room was broken into, having told reception out Door was faulty (no keycard's in this Hotel, just old fashioned locks) and with no security at all, no CCTV, no security guards, anybody could walk in from the street and would not be noticed or questioned.
The Police came and agreed the door was "no good", and we had to fight to change rooms. The Hotel Manager was very unhelpful, and no offer of help was given or offered, despite all of our Cash being stolen. We had to beg for a lift to the Police Station to make a report.
On return from the Police Station, we asked if we could have a drink off the all inclusive menu, and have something a bit more up market, and we were allowed 2 drinks each as a token of regret for our experience.
No further help was offered and not further contact given by the Manager, despite offering us a free accommodation trip next year.
Overall we would not recommend this Hotel to anyone who is looking for a relaxing holiday, and we would not wish this Hotel on our worst enemy.
This Hotel and our treatment in it, made it one of the worst holidays either of us has ever experienced.
