My husband, two children (10 and 7) and mother have just returned from 2 weeks all inclusive. We thought that the hotel and food was fantastic. We had booked a family suite which was very big and had two balconies, one facing the sea (2nd floor) and one facing the pool (first floor) via an internal stair case. All the staff were friendly and helpful, particularly the entertainment staff who work extremely hard.
When checking in we were told that the hotel does not allow customers to save sunbeds however by 7am every bed had a towel on it, with no one on any of them!
Though there are not a great deal of shops in the local area there are enough to have a nice stroll on an evening, though it is about a 20 minute walk. We also enjoyed the train tour which leaves outside the hotel on the hour every hour.
The bus into Rhodes Town was cheap and regular and drops you off in the bus station in the centre of Rhodes next to the castle where all the shops are located.
We also visited the water park and had a great day. We arrived shortly after opening and was one of the last to leave on the free bus which returns you to the bus station in Rhodes Town. It was well worth the money. We were also pleased that the food inside the water park was not expensive.
All in all and excellent holiday which we would recommend.

My husband and I have just returned from a 1 week all inclusive holiday at the Atlantica Princess and I must say we were very impressed with the hotel.
The food quality and choice is fantastic and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are lovely and the air conditioning was very welcome as the weather was very hot (not a cloud in the sky).
My only problem with the room was the balcony. We opened the doors to find a two tile width balcony with only enough room to stand or to put two chairs sideways at each end which made you feel like you were sitting in a toilet cubicle, lol!! The hotels frontage design makes it so that a 5th of the balconies are tiny (like ours) and the others are a decent size. When you book your holiday and you pay for a balcony you expect to be able to get a small table and two chairs on there!! We immediately complained to the reception but was told that as the hotel was full there was nothing they could do.
The actual resort that the hotel is in is not much cop, nothing nice to see, you have to go to Rhodes town to see anything historical and pretty. You can catch a bus on the main street (a short walk) for 2 Euros each way which is much cheaper than a taxi and more fun!!
I would recommend you visit the Waterpark at Falaraki, it is absolutely brilliant and a must if you have kids.It is 20 Euros for adults.
All in all, I cannot really fault the Hotel other than the balcony, it is spotless and nicely decorated. If you could move this hotel into a prettier area I would go again but I think this hotel is more for the sort of holidaymakers that like to eat, drink and sit by the pool all day.

We have just come back from a fabulous holiday at the Atlantica Princess hotel in Ixia where we took our two girls aged 8 and 9 and stayed in a maisonette (2 beds upstairs and 3 downstairs). But be warned that the upstairs looks out on the pool and entertainment stage and my girls found it hard to get to sleep as it sounds very loud and goes on until 11pm every night. In the end we all swapped bedrooms. The food is fantastic - really very very good both quality and choice - different every day and we have been to many places to compare in the past. The hotel is lovely and the staff very friendly and service is great. The girls enjoyed the kids club although got turned away on our last day because they had reached max numbers. Also, if you book with First choice you get access their exclusive kids club which looked really good. Overall it was a fantastic holiday. Got to get up early to put the towels on the sunbeds though and it is really hot there. The pool is busy but it really is a holiday that can't be beaten. I have recommended to my family and we will all be going there again. A short taxi ride - about 10 euros - took us to Rhodes town where all the shops and food places are, not that you want to eat anywhere else!

Read This All The Way Through, Otherwise You May Miss Important Facts!
I Am A 13 Year Old Girl, And On The 2nd August 08, My Family (Mum And Dad) And Me Went To Rhodes For The First Time.
I Was Expecting It To Be Exactly The Same As Cyprus, Which I Went To Last Year, But I Was Pleasantly Mistaken. There Is So Much To Do, And The Shops Down The Road Are Full Of Amazing Souviners, And Cheap 'Designer' Goods, Like Bags, Sunnies, Clothes And Shoes. Brands Like Gucci And D&G Are Available Really Cheap. But Don't Tell Anyone How Much They Are!!
The Hotel Itself Was Amazing. A Massive Pool, Lovely Restaurant With Gorgous Food, And The Entertainment Was Brilliant, With Activities For The Young And Old Running All Day, And Great Shows, Like A Caberet, Kids Disco, Bingo, And Loads More. Every Night Is Different!! On The Tuesdays, There Is A Theme Evening For A Greek Night. If You Pay A Bit Extra (15 Euros) You Can Enjoy Traditional Greek Style Food. The Show In The Evening Is Free, And You Can Just Go To The Main Restaurant If You're Running A Bit Short On Cash!
I Reccommend Going Half Board, As There Isnt That Much Else You Get Free With All Inclusive, And Self Catering Is Too Much Like Hard Work!!
There Are 3 Lifts, But I Only Found 2, And One Is Tiny, And Even We Found It A Struggle To Get Up With Our Suitcases! Go For The Bigger Lift If You Have A Bigger Group, As We Found We Got Very Claustraphobic, Even With 3 Of Us.
Next To The Big Lift Is A Shop, Which You Can Get Souvinirs, Inflatables, Books, Magazines, And More.
There Is A Kids Club For The Kids, Up To The Age Of 12, Or 10, I Think, So I Didnt Go To It, But As They Were Coming Round The Pool, It Looked Like Great Fun!
Outside, By The Baby Pool, There Is Toilets, Which Arent That Interesting, But Next To Them, Is A Little 'Pen'. It Is Kind Of Lost Property, But For Inflatables, Balls Etc. It Is Worth Going There Early To Get The Lilo You Want, As They Are Taken Early, And The Same For The Sunbeds - To Get Good Ones, Reserve Them With Towels Before Brekkie.
The Reps (Entertainers And Officey Ones) Are Brilliant. We Had Kim As Our Rep For Trips Etc, And Sasha, Ben, David, Amy, And Matt For Entertaiment. They Are All Trained Dancers/Singers, So Their Performance Is Always Spectacular. It Was Them That Inspired Me To Become A Entertainer Rep When Im 18!!
The Rooms Are A Nice Size, And Have Air Con, A Fridge, A Kettle, And A HairDryer, Though It Isnt Very Drying On Hair.
You Get A Card To Open The Door, And You Can Pay Per Week For A Safety Deposit Box, Which Is Well Worth The Very Few Euros.
There Are Loads Of Trips You Can Go On, Like A Boat Trip (I Went On One To Lindos) And Waterparks, Beach Trips (Go To Tsambika Beach - Beautifully Warm Clear Water, But The Sand Is Blisteringly Hot!) And Loads More. Your Rep Will Give You Choices In Your Welcome Meeting On Your First Or Second Day At The Hotel.
So, All In All, I Give Rhodes A 9/10, As I Loved Every Second Of It, But The Beds Were Hard, And There Wasnt Much Of A Variety Of Food. The Puddings Were Gorge Though!
Thanks!

Just arrived back from the Atlantica Princess overall had a lovely stay. As other people have stated the hotel is very clean throughout. Our room was quite large with a double bed for me and the wife and a set of bunk beds for the kids, the fridge although quite small had room enough for about 4 1.5l bottles of water. The bathroom was also quite large.
We only stayed on a half board basis so cannot comment on lunch but breakfast had plenty of choice and was well prepared. At Dinner the choice was varied and most days i found something to my taste. They had theme nights for example Greek / Italian etc each week as well as a gala dinner night. My youngest who is even more fussier than me ended up having bread rolls for her dinner on a couple of occasions as she didn't like the sauce 's etc on some things, the childrens buffet was popular with her but even on that sometimes she found nothing to her taste! The sweets were wonderful throughout, my only gripe was there were quite alot of fly's around and they appeared to not have any means of controlling them, oh and also i think i only had one luke warm plate the whole time i was there every other time they were cold!!! The pool was lovely with plenty of sunbeds and even if you came down late morning there still were some available. The Fun in the sun team ran games etc through the day although we normally only managed aqua aerobics in the pool. In the evening they had a kids disco from 8.30 till 9.00 then a show after. As some others pointed out we only had two outside acts in the fortnight we were there a magic show and a greek night all the rest were done by the hotel team and although they tried quite hard i think a couple of outside acts a week would have added to the entertainment package as the homemade acts were much the same each night. Although i suppose if you are one of those that takes advantage of the all inclusive option by that time in the evening you wouldn't notice.
The Beach was only a short distance away and was lovely for a change from the pool and the stones good therapy for your back!!
We got a cheap trip which was run by a small company who parked their bus a few hundred yards down the road from the hotel which saved us loads on the tour operators prices They were called Holiday Essential and ran about 6 diffrent trips all of which were very cheap and although there was no guide we enjoyed our trip and wished we had noticed him before we made our on way to lindos on the local buses, as he was nearly the same price and would have saved us alot of hassle.
Overall i must say the hotel was excellent and can recommend it

Have come back from this holiday very pleased, relaxed and 5lbs overweight. The hotel was really nice, the staff was also so friendly and hard working around the clock. The Childrens entertainment was good and my daughter always rushed her evening meal to get to the kids disco. Althought we didnt expect Broadway shows for our evening entertainment they werent really anything special at all but even still sat and watched each one. The entertainment staff were good and did try and included everbody in the activities which turnt out to be good fun. The food was very nice and varied and really nice although the Greek nice is Not worth 15 euros. Rooms are abit outdated. Overall one of my best holidays.

Just back from 2 weeks all inclusive at the fantastic Atlantica Princess Hotel. The hotel had been recommended to us by friends who had stayed there 2 years ago. We had the most amazing time. The rooms were spotless, the food brilliant & all the staff were extremely willing to make it a great holiday especially Haris the waiter.
Ten out of ten to Sacha & her entertainment team.
Would highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel were fantastic,
one of the best holidays i've ever had.
Food, pool, entertainment and staff were all great!
The maids were brilliant and cleaned our room every-day,
towels changed everyday, and bedsheets every other day.
On our 2nd day we upgraded to all inclusive,
24 hour snack bar. One day we went out and would miss dinner
the reception informed the chefs and they made us a packed lunch.
Only thing that i wern't keen on is that the beach were pebbles and not sand, but wern't too bad.

Me and my girlfriend have just got back from a week at the hotel, we`re both in our early 20`s and 1st time in Rhodes and both so pleased we picked this hotel..
We went half board, because as we didn`t want to be tied to the hotel.. but within 12 hours of being there upgraded to All Inclusive for the week as everything was so nice.
The staff are so friendly and couldn`t do enough for you, all the reps was very friendly too. The evening entainment was always very good with all reps giving 100%, (Matts Elvis was very good) we had some really funny nights there. We didn`t really get involved with any dayime entainment, but always got asked if we`d like to, but never was they pushy.. (like we`ve found elsewhere) To carry the night on we did venture to Rhodes town to bar street a couple of times around 11/12ish, was only 10/11 euros, and always was a really good night (from what we remember).
The hotel itself is the best presented hotel I think we`ve stayed in, rooms very clean and cleaned everyday by Maria who was always very nice.
As for the food.. Laura (my better half) is a very, very fussy eater, I can honestly say I`ve never in 3 years seen her eat so much! She loved everything. The food was simply awesome every breakfast/dinner & tea, we ate like kings..
A big, big thank you to all, definitely reccommend to all friends and family, and would prob be 1st place I`d love to go again (but we like to try different countries)

Travelled as a couple with 2 children aged 10 and 3 years of age, not easy to keep them both happy. However, absolutely top class hotel, top class staff all in all the best AI family hotel we have ever stayed in, plenty to do for both my lads, the entertainement staff were outstanding, without being too pushy.
Spotlessly clean hotel and rooms, all the hotel staff and the entertainement and first choice staff were excellent and all gave 100%.
Great holiday-great hotel

Just returned from a 2 week recuperation holiday with daughters and grandchildren. Went here two years ago, and this Hotel is exactly the same, clean, good food and fantastic helpful staff. Our card key failed and within 5 minutes the maintenance people were out and put things right. There are surrounding local shops and a few restuarants but you need to go into Rhodes Town for the sights, although my Husband is a keen walker and has found little churches and buildings left over from the war in the surrounding hills. We had a family suite, 2 bedrooms, 2 toilets and 2 balconies. Much more privacy for us all. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to go to Rhodes. Look out for the Head Man, he runs a tight ship regarding the restaurant and he is much appreciated.
