Saren Indah Hotel

Saren Indah was a good deal at USD65, for 3 pax. It had a nice four poster bed (and a spare bed), sunken tub and a flat screen tv. when you step out of your room you are greeted by a tranquil mini-garden. Frogs and cricket croak in the still of the night ... very peaceful. Theres a paddy field next to the hotel and in the morning you can hear ducks quacking as they move through the fields. Saren Indah was such a beautiful place to get into the Ubud swing of things and for a great price. Right when you get there, especially if you arrive at night after a long haul, its a big ahhhhhh... The location is perfect- away from any bustle, very tranquil, but an easy walk into town and when we needed a lift or a pick up (restaurants were happy to call the driver for us) it was never a problem. I must that the service provided by this lovely hotel is excellent. The staff are really friendly. The room is nicely decorated and spacious. At night, you can really sleep in peace as the surrounding is quiet. However, if there is a shower curtain in the bathroom will be good, as after every shower, the entire bathroom floor will be wet. Nevertheless, the overall experience is great. I wish I can stay longer there.

We stayed at the Saren Indah from Jan 4-11. The hotel and staff far exceeded our expectations. The room was great, lighting was fine, just pack a reading light to have by your bed. Decor was simple but imaculate, and room was cleaned 2x/day. The hotel property always had incense burning and flowers placed everywhere with the most delicate but sweet fragrance we have ever smelled. The Saren Indah Hotel was chosen for it’s availability & it’s economical price. We booked 3 rooms at short notice for our party of 6. They offered x3 Garden Deluxe rooms for the first 3 nights & x3 Garden Superior for the next 3nights. The hotel is SPOTLESSLY clean. It is an easy walk to Monkey Forest Road. A holiday in Ubud is a sure fire way to recharge our city-weary souls. We stayed here over the holidays and I must say we really enjoyed it. This lovely property is set in the middle of tranquil rice paddies with only the sounds of nature (frogs and insects) to lull you at night. The small size of the property (16-17 rooms I think) serves only to add character and intimacy to it. I wouldn’t trade it for the fancy-swanky chains dotting Bali especially the ones with all the tour groups. The hotel is perfect for relaxation and getaway from the city activities. surrounded by paddy field, it's perfectly quiet at night, with only sounds from nature such as birds or frogs. had 2 perfect days in here. only manage to get 2 days, wanted to stay longer. staff ever smiling , helpful. free wifi in the reception and swimming pool area plus free shuttle to ubud town. perfect, surely i'll visit again.

We stayed here for three nights in early November this year and had a really wonderful and relaxing stay. The room was perfect and the staff went out of their way to be helpful, helping us to book activities and organise transportation for the later stages of our trip. The setting of the hotel is great, right next to the Monkey Forest with just a short stroll into town and the shuttle service operated by the hotel which came in very useful for us when it was raining hard! I would recommend this place highly.
