San Miguel Hotel

Just got back from a lovely week at hotel – ideal for a cheap all inclusive holiday in the sun!! Lots of families there but also young couples, older adults and oaps!!! Clean, friendly hotel in lovely location!! Hotel – very clean throughout, lifts up and down are a bit of a pain, Pool areas clean and well kept – lots of sunbeds for everyone. hotel was clean and comfortable town was quiet. beach was clean and very safe. entertainment was ok, and the food was usaul cheep all inclusive. weather was good for the time of year. overall was a good cheap holiday

Have just returned from a week's all inclusive at this Hotel. originally booked Galleon next door but was moved 2 weeks before departure because it closed early. The first thing you notice is the smell of drains and sewers (all over the Hotel). The toilets in public areas were shabby,with no locks on some doors, broken tiles, graffitti and broken/loose toilet seats.. Only 2 lifts and one was out of order most of the day on 3 occassions. We stay in the apartments which are 4* plus(although apparently may be sold this winter). Great location although very quiet. Excellent entertainment. Food good - although in my view better at lunchtime rather than in the evening in the restaurant. Staff fantastic from cleaning staff, who do their best to keep everywhere spotless despite the holidaymakers who don't seem to realise that they need to put their rubbish in the many bins that are provided, to bar staff, restaurant staff and especially the animation team who do everything to make... more

I was unsure about what to expect due to mixed reviews, can I just say I was really pleasantly surprised. We arrived at 1 am to be greated by a really friendly chap who made us feel very welcome. Our rooms were fine, yes the air con was old but it worked and there was enough room for a family of 4 (2 adults 2 Teenage boys). we booked the san miguel hotel beacuse i was looking for a week away with my family? the reveiews where not too bad and i thought that i would try a 3* hotel? well where can i start, once we arrived at the hotel ,we had been droped off at the wrong end and then had to parrade around a really grotty pool , up a lift that looks like something from the 1960's then up around a steep slope past another groty pool to then have to get another lift to the eighth floor because this is where reception is? we checked in and then given... more

I have just returned from the San Miguel Hotel in Ibiza, where I stayed with my husband, his three kids (19, 16 and 10) and my Mum. A friend also came along and she stayed in the sister "San Miguel Beach Club" next door. Ok, where do I start. If you want an action packed holiday which caters for kids with bags of evening entertainment, this is the place for you. stayed with hubby & 14yr old son for 2 weeks, room ok size, clean & fixtures ok, had beautiful sea view. food good, plenty to choose from, chinese exellent, burger bar near beach pretty good too. beach & sea brilliant, took our own beach mats & got parasol from shop nxt to beach for 9 euros, sunbeds & parasols on beach 4euros each per day, went canoeing most days, free with hotel, deffinately reccomend it, plenty to do around hotel with activities from animation team if you want to join in, exellent service from all the bars, all staff very... more

Just had a week at this hotel. Setting is beautiful. Hotel is clean and all the staff extremely pleasant and friendly. The hotel is built on the side of a cliff so be prepared for a lot of steps. Restaurant on 8th floor, main bar on ground floor and pool and leisure facilities and beach lower still. There are 2 lifts however. Quality and variety of food very good and seperate chinese restaurant offers buffet style chinese dishes, also very good. All inclusive is fantastic with staff on hand to offer free food and drink for 13 hours each day!!

Just had two great weeks at this hotel. The rooms aren't that good and you also get clobbered for 2.50 euros per day for the safe. You can also have a mini fridge but you must pay for that too. It's a clean hotel with linen and towels changed daily but the sheets always seemed to fall off the bed during the night. The food, drinks and ice cream are very good for a three star hotel.
