A charming Riad in a very central location in the Medina. The host Antoine made sure that our stay was as comfortable and pleasurable as possible, providing us with local information on the area as well as helping us to book trips out of Marrakesh. I chose to stay at this riad for the excellent reviews I saw on tripadvisor. It was my first time in morocco and had not idea where to stay. The reviews were right, this is a wonderful place to stay!! I stayed for three nights and they were great! We selected this riad for it's looks and reviews and were not dissapointed. We arrived after midnight following a delayed flight and the pick-up, arranged by the riad, all worked like clock-work. Once at the Riad we were warmly met by Antoine who we immediately got along well with. He was the perfect host who made us feel like we were his house guests rather than clients. From the moment of our arrival in Marrakech, we knew that this holiday would be different!  It was a bit of a hassle getting through immigration but the driver arranged through Antoine was ready and waiting to take us to Riad Aguerzame.    Don't ever try to find this location by yourself as it is located within the narrow alleys of the medina.   Even some of the taxis cannot find their way around the medina so book taxis to and from the airport via Antoine (the cost is added to your final account so forget having to have ready cash in... more

We stayed at the riad for 4 nights and had a wonderful time. The riad is decorated very tastefully but the best thing about the riad is the host Antoine. He truly loves Morroco and has turned his riad into a passion and lifestyle rather than a business. He goes out of his way to help guests feel at home and provides as much guidance around the city as needed. Great riad in a good location - pretty much everything is close to hand. Beautifully and stylish in a traditional manner. Very comfortable room. Antoine was a great host and made us feel very welcome and at home - even taking us personally to show us the way to the Djemma el Fnaa. Very nice dinner on the first evening. Would very much recommend.

Cannot reccomend this Riad highly enough. We stayed 4 nights and each was an absolute pleasure. The Riad is so calm and tranquil, a complete opposite of the hustle and bustle of the souks. Beautiful decor, great location, wonderful hospitality! Riad Aguerzame is an amazing place - quiet comfortable rooms with opulent furnishings reflecting the colours of the area. Views from the sun terrace are stunning and the open courtyard where breakfast is served, a perfect place to start the day. I cannot reccomend this hotel enough. The rooms are beautifully decorated around a lovely central courtyard with 2 orange trees, where guests can eat breakfast every morning. Antoine and Mathilde are the perfect hosts, even getting up at 5am to make breakfast for us on the morning that we departed. If I ever return to Marrakech then I would definitely stay here.

Riad Aguerzame is run by Antoine and Mathilde Gély; they have turned it into a lovely and intimate guesthouse with a great sun terrace and views over the Koutoubia Mosque.
