Pacifica, woldn't stay there again
The Pacifica is a very beautiful location, but provided the worst service I have ever had while vacationing. We were told they were very busy because of he Cozumel overflow, however we saw staff hanging around the bar. The same bar thst we had to go to in order to order food or drinks. The Siempre had great food, but it took an hour to get our breakfast. It was good, but I didn't want to spend my day in the restaurant. As mentioned previously, it is also very expensive. I also felt that the staff was not very... more
Total Tranquility
We weren't expecting to enjoy Pacifica nearly as much as we did! It's definitely a place to relax and not party. Pros: Miguel, the activities director. The amazing beds! Spa treatments (but see below). Nightly turndown service. Pool water a PERFECT temperature. Always a lounge chair and towel available. Access to PB Sunset Beach a plus. Rooms were so, so comfy with excellent decor and amazingly comfy chairs on the decks. Cons: The annoying Mexican who kept running after us warning us not to go into the Pacific Ocean. Toiletries... more
My Favorite Vacation Ever!
I just returned from 10 days at the Pueblo Bonito Pacifica, and I have to say it was probably my favorite vacation ever. My husband and I have previously stayed at the Pueblo Bonito Rose on Medano Beach, which we enjoyed, but the Pacifica is a really special place. It is located not on Medano Beach on the Sea of Cortes, but on the Pacifica Ocean, so it is much quieter. The resort just opened in April, and was only about 50% full, plus no children under 16 are allowed, so it was very tranquil and relaxing, which was what we wanted. If you... more
Beautiful Resort, Perfect Weather
My husband and I just returned from 8 days at the Pacifica. What a beautiful resort. The service was terrific. We were originally given a room opposite the Seimpre restaurant. It appeared to be a perfect spot with a spectacular view. What we soon learned was that at night you couldn't sit on the balcony and enjoy the view and conversation due to the noise from the restaurant's roof top vents, and the noisy waterfall outside the resturant (not a soothing trickle, but a hard continual cascade). When advised of the problem the next day,... more
Peace at last!
I was really skeptical about staying at the Pacifica before the trip. My relatives have a timeshare at the Pueblo Bonito Sunset and had run out of space for everyone in our group to stay together. So they booked a few of us at the Pacifica. There is an hourly shuttle that runs between the two resorts. You could walk between the two places but it is a super hilly desert 30 minute hike. Wear good shoes and take water! Anyway, the Pacifica has a beautiful walk in pool, no small children are permitted and a very peaceful... more
Great resort despite bad service
We recently traveled to the Pueblo Bonita Pacifica for a one-week stay in the middle of October. Living in New York City and having stayed in many of the world's top resorts, we were accustomed to staying in very nice resorts with top-notch service. Pueblo Bonito Pacifica delivered on most fronts but failed, miserably, when it came to customer service. Rooms: The rooms were well appointed, clean, brand new and every room offers views of the ocean, which is beautiful. Every room also offers a balcony. The water pressure was a little... more
a very, very good escape
if you've stayed in other, much more expensive los cabos properties with more stars to their credit as we have, you may find yourself comparing the pueblo bonito pacifica spa and holistic retreat to your previous experiences, and that can be a good thing. this spectacularly-sited resort looks very much like some of the more over-the-top lavish spots on the los cabos corridor, with all of the incredible stonework, water features, desert landscaping and facilities, but this place has a few nice twists and surprises i'll leave for you to... more
Loved it and would definately recommend
My husband and I just got back from staying 7 nights at the Pacifica. We had been to Cabo in the past and stayed at the Sheraton Hacienda Del Mar. Overall Impression - The resort reminds me of a Westin W collection. Luxurious yet minimalistic. I am a frequent traveler (Marriott Platinum member and Starwood Gold member) and I was very pleased with the resort, the amenities, and the service we received. Location - After staying on the Pacific side of Cabo, we actually prefer this to the other areas. In Cabo, there are... more
Really enjoyed the Pacifica!
I have traveled to many resorts and spas around the world: Hawaii several times, Tahiti, Mazatlan, Carmel, Greece. This is a beautiful, peaceful, and serene property. If you are not interested in quiet (no children, no nightlife, no singles, no partying) then you shouldn't stay here. The Pacifica does not feel like the real world. I would recommend it to honeymooners and romantic couples. If you can't relax, then forget it. After a day of trekking through Cabo San Lucas we couldn't wait to get back to the peace and... more
One of the best places in the world!
I am a well-travelled person, having stayed in resorts like the Four Seasons and the Ritz Carlton all around the world. That said, this is one of the most spectacular resorts I have been to, and I will recommend and go back to PB Pacifica and/or Sunset Beach as often as I possibly can in the future. The Pacifica's property grounds are so well-groomed, the architecture planned so well that from any part of the resort, you have breaktaking views and vistas of something. Every detail of this resort was pleasing to the eye. The rooms... more
