Agla Hotel

I arrived in Athens on my way to Rhodes but without any hotel reservations. Since it was starting to get close to Greek Easter I decided to go down to one of the travel agencies in the arrivals lounge of the Athens airport and set up a hotel before arriving in Rhodes. They put me into the Hotel Agla. So I went there blind, essentially, hoping for the best but not having any expectations. This is not (obviously) not the best way to get a hotel. We stay every year. Great place + great staff = great time every time. Go check it out you wont be disappointed

I stayed here in Sept. 2003. A good all round hotel that is what it says. Neat, clean, nice public areas and great staff who were very friendly and helpful. Many had worked there for 20 years or more. Room quality excellent. Food extremely good if slightly biased to a N European clientele for my taste. Small but well maintained pool and sunbathing area, which, in September anyway, is partly in shade during the hottest part of the day. On the downside, few rooms had really good seaviews, and it is somewhat cramped in with surrounding hotels... more

We have stayed at the Hotel Agla about 9 times now it's the nicest, friendliest hotel we have ever stayed in, and are going back again Oct this year
