Planet Hollywood Towers

Good things: 1. Nice view, cool decor, 2. upgraded to a 2 bedroom for $50 more per night 3. Comfortable beds 4. Nice central location Bad things: 1. Slow valet 2. Nobody answers when calling conceriege, front desk, valet, bell man 3. Room decor is dark, so all the stains show, very dirty 4. My recent stay at PH Towers began with a relatively short wait to check in. I had reserved one of the nicer 1 bedroom suites labeled upper. My room was on the 31st floor and we had great views of the airport and the signature suites across harmon. The room itself was amazing. Full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, dropdown screen with projector in the living room, jacuzzi tub in the bathroom, and washer/dryer in the restroom. This place was super awesome. Amazingly awesome. I usually stay at the Venetian but changed it up this time around... good choice! I stayed here with a group of my friends for a bachelor party. We originally booked two 2bdrm suites and 1 king studio suite but later they changed the reservation to one 2bdrm suite with a walkoff (3 bdrm basically) and one 2bdrm suite. It was amazing. When reading the description of the hotel, the list of amenities was long. The pictures on their website and on review pages showed very nice rooms, and I hoped it came close to what they claimed. From experience, I've found that hotel rooms are rarely as nice as the ones in the pictures. In this case, I'd say that the pictures did not do it justice. I stayed in a suite with two bedrooms. I had read some of the previous reviews of the PH Westgate Towers, and was a bit reluctant to attempt a fairly new place that hadn't seem to get a good rap. Well, having 3 kids all under the age of 10, I didn't want to spend time in one of the older, musty and smokey smelling hotels either. (My budget called for spending $200-$250/night for 2 nights). Connected to the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino by an upscale mall, PH Westgate Towers is an awesome hotel in an awesome location! We stayed in a one bedroom apartment equipped with four flat panel televisions, a well appointed kitchenette, a large jetted tub, and floor to ceiling windows in each room. This has to be the most mixed review I could ever give for a property. Loved it by the end, but really had some misgivings throughout the stay. Let's start at check in. Used a banked time share week and traded in through Interval International. Had previously called Westgate Resorts (the management company) to request a high floor away from the elevator. The location here, central strip is fabulous. The property is really modern, great rooms, excellent views, really comfy beds. Check in can be confusing if (like us) you end up at Planet Hollywood reception, not towers. Get your walking shoes on and you can see everything you need to from here.

The Westgate Towers at Planet Hollywood couldn't be in a better location. The walk through the casino and the shops is easy, the casino is nice, restaurants are good, shopping is good. Our room was ok--traded through Interval International with a timeshare we own in Mexico. We have stayed a few times at Planet Hollywood. Loved it both times. Went during Halloween BEST TIME IN THE WORLD to go to Vegas but Planet Hollywood had the best parties and visual than anywhere else!!! The rooms were awesome as was the resort itself!
