Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London

Just spent the weekend in the new Park Plaza, Westminster bridge. Was very impressed with all aspects of my stay from check in to check out. The interior decor is lovely. We stayed in a beautifully decorated room with stunning views of Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. Although located in a busy area, there was not any noise. Travelled on a Travelzoo £89 a night deal, excellent value, smart new hotel, v comfortable rooms, kind and pleasant staff, nice buffet breakfast. Bathrooms are very nice, spaciaous bath and qualitypower showers. Great for weekend stays.

This is a good 4* hotel for business purposes. On a traffic island, the location looks unpromising from outside but noise is no problem. The design is sleek and minimal in communal areas and in rooms, which boast the most modern and spacious bathrooms I have seen in London in hotels under £200 per night. The quality of food at breakfast was uninspiring and tables rather cramped but there was an excellent selection of free quality newspapers. Stay here if you find a good offer. It's worth up to £100 per night.

Stayed in this hotel for 2nights on a Travelzoo special for Bed and Breakfast. Everything about this hotel was excellent. Could not fault the breakfast, no waiting for a table and very attentive service. Booked a double bedroom which was huge and very well thought out. Seperate shower of a very decent size and bath tub. We stayed for one night for a theatre weekend trip. Room wasn't ready when we arrived but this was dealt with immediately by the receptionist who simply upgraded us to a junior suite. The room was very well appointed and having 2 flat screen tvs was a nice luxury. One minor thing is that the room had a damp smell but this left the senses immediately and was only noticeable for a few seconds on entering the room. The Park Plaza Westminster Bridge is an appropriately fine hotel for such an excellent location. it is just across the Thames River from Parliament (and Big Ben), very convenient to downtown London and many tourist sites. My partner and I stayed here for a long weekend March 11 – 14. I believe the hotel had been open about two weeks. Because the hotel was new, the prices were great. I cannot imagine that the prices will stay so affordable for very long. The hotel is very new, clean, and extremely modern in its décor & furnishings. One of the best night's sleep I've had in a hotel for a while. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. Bathroom was lovely with a good shower. The location is excellent, just a few minutes walk from Westminsters tube, the South Bank and London Eye and just a quick bus ride/tube away from Victoria. Booked via TravelZoo for a birthday celabratory weekend. booking easy but there the 5star ends. We wanted to drive into London and park for two days. Contacted reservations and was initially advised of off-site parking. Asked the hotel to prebook and there the problems started. They could only advise of one car park with 70 spaces. You cannot prebook and the hotel cannot advise of alternatives. There are over 1000 rooms at this hotel plus conferencing facilities. I spent three weeks sending many e-mails to the hotels... more
