We lived here 24-26 Mar.It's a great experience.It's such a new hotel,though a small one.The room is small,but enough for me.Iit's well decorated,the bathroom is beautiful,hot,water is good.air condition is so cool that i even feel a little cold.The location is just at the heart of phi phi.nere everything,such as 7-11,bar,restraunt,tavel agency,beach…There are 2 free bottles of water everyday,and you can borrow towls from the front,but you should return before 8 pm. There is one thing you can be sure about with Phi Phi – an abundance of accommodation. For our three week Thai holiday, finding a place in advance to stay on Phi Phi took the most time of all. The hotel is very nice, new and clean. The staff are very kind. The location is convenient just in the middle of the village. The only minus is that the hotel does not provide any beach facilities.

On arrival at Phi Phi we had no idea where our hotel was and as there are no roads we had to walk, a lady approached us and took us to our hotel which is not far from the port which was very nice of her as she would not accept a tip. We got checked in very quickly and were taken to our pool access room. The room was very nice with the pool 2 steps from our room which was great! I booked this through HotelATM online, and really enjoyed my stay. The rooms are decorated very well, and the pool is fun. Best of all, it is steps away from all of the stops and restaurants in Phi Phi island. I traveled there by myself, and enjoyed being around so many people and shops. It felt very safe. I wouldn't recommend the hotel to honeymooners, because it's not very secluded and is not on the beach. However, for a more cultural, social vacation it is a fantastic and luxurious resort. We had a fantastic stay at PP Palmtree hotel! The hotel is very well located, right in the middle of Ton Sai village and within a very comfortable walking distance to everything. Despite its great location, it's not noisy at all. The hotel is new, and the rooms are well decorated and nicely furnished. The pool area is lovely and has a bar, but a little small. The staff is rude- and not accommodating. We killed a mosquito on our bathroom mirror the first night, and the guts were still there 3 days later- they just came in and made the bed, and gave us new water- but that's it for the cleaning! The breakfast is pretty good, and the location is great. The rooms are new but small.

Agree with the other reviews - this place is a little gem. We got a Pool Access room just walking in and chancing it, for 2200 Thai which we thought was an excellent deal inc breakfast too. The Room is very modern (only been open less than a year) and nice and clean (not large, but we thought was good size enough for us as a couple) and had a doorway straight into your own terrace with 2 sun chairs and into the pool. The Phi Phi Palmtree is a modern, brand new hotel in Phi Phi. We're just back and loved it. We booked at the hotel when we arrived, but the hotel was very busy, even for low season, so I would suggest booking in advance during the high season. We ended up with a twin room, but this was fine as it was a lovely and very comfortable room. It's a hotel that's best suited for young couples and singles, there weren't many families there at all. We found this hotel through one of the island guides when we got off the ferry in Phi Phi. It was 40 euro per room per night. The rooms were excellent if a little small! The pool area was lovely with a really cool pool bar. The grounds were lovely if a little hard to navigate at first. The breakfasts as thai buffet breakfasts go were excellent. The italian restaurant in the hotel was good, but go around the corner to Cosmics for a really nice feed. hotel was quite central to everything but Phi Phi is quite small so don't be worried... more
