Firstly pay extra for the sea view – its so worth it. The room was very spacious and had everything required (fridge, crockery etc). The bathroom was also roomy and had fresh towels if not daily then every other. Both rooms very clean. The girls enjoyed the ride to the... more

What a superb hotel, holiday and resort. We have just come home from a 14 day holiday at Kefalos (me, my husband, my mother and father in law). We arrived near middnight, had a quick check-in and was taken straight to our rooms (we had 2 apartments) by golf buggy. The... more

I went with my family to celebrate my marriage blessing following my wedding in December 2007. 14 of us stayed at the kefalos Village (for 14 days). We had 4 apartments between all of us. We had booked 3 1 bedroom seaview apartments (1 was BB and 2 were 1/2 board) and 1... more

This was our first family holiday and reading all the reviews we decided that Kefalos was the one. We stayed for 1 week but wish it was for 2. The apartments were spotless, could do with the odd touch up (odd paint drop on tiles in bathroom etc) but was cleaned everyday,... more

Beautiful Sunsets!
Stayed here for two weeks at the end of August and had a great time. We were a party of four with two boys of 12 and 14 and booked two studios facing the sea with fabulous views of the beach and sunset which were amazing. Booked on a bed and breakfast basis and there was plenty of choice for breakfast, including a diet section, and loved most things except the orange juice. Pool was lovely, just the right size and very clean. Could have done with a few more sun loungers as if you left it past 9.00am you had to hunt to find four together.... more
Fantastic Stay at the Kefalos
My boyfriend and I stayed at the Kefalos for two weeks at the end of August/beginning September and had a fantastic time. Upon arrival we were transported to our apartment in a golf buggy which is a nice quirk. We had booked a sea view room and were not disappointed. Our balcony opened directly out onto the sea and the view was perfect. We were able to watch the sun set every night and got some amazing pictures. We would highly recommend that people consider paying a bit extra for a sea view as it is well worth it. We were... more
great hotel
We have just returned from a break at the Kefalos beach Hotel Apartments on a bed and breakfast basis. our first impression of the hotel was how friendly most of the staff were. The rooms (we were on the first floor) were clean and bright with tv aircon included in the price. The Hotel reception is comfortable and roomy with indoor and outdoor pools and a quiet private beach. For children there were daily entertainments at the pool with evening entertainment.(Everything stopped at 12 midnight) so if you wanted a late night suggest you go to... more
A calm retreat in a sea of traffic
This was our first visit to Paphos for 16 years and we were shocked at the changes which have taken place during that time, the Kefelos Village however proved to be an excellent choice. We stayed in an apartment with a Sea View, which as recommended by other Trip Advisors , is a must, as the sunsets are spectacular, and we even spotted a couple of Dolphins one evening, jumping about in the sea near the beach. The apartments were cleaned every day and all the outside area were kept spotless. We can recommend the restaurant which... more
Very Friendly and great food
This was our 3rd visit to Kefalos, 1st trip was April 05, 2nd Trip Easter 06 and 3rd trip June 06 each stay was 10 days. We are intending to return next year too. This was the best holiday our family has experienced. We have 2 children(10 and 5), plenty to see and do. The daytime sports and activities provided by Mel and Leighton of 4Front Entertainment were varied and highly enjoyable (even my husband joined in). Mel and Leighton work extremely hard and are a very friendly team. On our first visit the entertainment team didn't... more
Kefalos - it dosen't get much better than this.
We have stayed in a number of hotels in Paphos all of which, I have to say were good. A few years ago whilst walking along the beach near the Tombs of the Kings, we noticed a new development nearing completion. The following year we spotted the Kefalos Beach in the winter sun brochues and decided to give it a try ~ that was five years ago and we've kept coming back ever since. Standards are exceptionally high across the board - The staff are friendly, and helpful but never intrusive. If you want to be left alone there is no-one... more
Excellent hotel
We have just returned from a two week stay a t the Kefalos Beach and I can only say it was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Firstly the staff were so helpful, pleasant, friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. Everywhere you went they would stop and talk to you asked how you were etc. T hey were great with the kids and made their holiday. The apartment are spacious and well maintained. We had a one bed apt. with sea view which was fab. The maids came every day and sheets and towels were changed on a regular basis.... more
Fantastic Accomodation
We went to the Kefalos Beach Village this August and had an absolutely fantastic time! The hotel itself is attractive and is very well kept. The reception staff are, contrary to previous reviews, friendly and helpful. We were transported to our apartment in what resembled a golf buggy. This was not necessary for us as our apartment was close to the reception, however for others it would be more useful. Our apartment was clean light and spacious with a small bathroom and a kitchenette. Though we were not in one of the "sea view" rooms,... more
Great holiday at the kefalos beach
Stayed at the Kefalos for two weeks when in Cyprus for my sisters wedding (she stayed at the Elysium next door which was absolutely gorgeous!!) Had an excellent time here stayed in a studio which was large enough for the two of us. Hotel is clean and pool large enough to cope with all the people who were there. It also has sun loungers overlooking the sea which means that you get a nice sea breeze to help you stay cool!! Would recommend Metaxas/ Raffles for food nearby and also Chloes Chinese in the harbour. Breakfast at the hotel... more
July 2006
This was our second trip to Kefalos, having previously visited in 2003. We arrived and were checked in very quickly and shown to our room, which as usual was clean & tidy. We were expecting the area to have been built up since our last stay but it was as we left it 3 years ago. The best restaurants to go to are Fat Mamas, but make sure you don't eat for the previous 12 hours as the portions are massive - I have a big appetite and I couldnt eat it all! The Outback is a great place to go with really friendly staff - great food and... more
Management response from SOFRONIOUANDREAS 23 Aug 2006

The Kefalos beach tourist villages has been certificed with the HACCP/ISO(food handling and safety procedures in service) thus the chances of a food poison are minimal. Additionally, there is no prawn coctail in our menu and having checked the guest's case with his tour operator there is no case of food poison.
