Nives Racic's Apartments

The location of Nive's apartments is as perfect as you can get; in the center of old town Dubrovnik and in the flat part so you don't have to climb hills unless you want to. the furniture was grandmother type, but clean; we had a full kitchen, bedroom, bathroom with a washing machine no less, and air conditioning. We could look out the window at old town, were able to pop in and out for a nap or to leave some purchases (like those we bought for dinner at the small market). Have just returned on 20th October from Nives apartment. Our plane was diverted to Split airport because of high winds in Dubrovnik which meant a 4 hour journey by coach late at night. Nives was so kind she picked us up at the bus station which was very helpful (poor Nives had probably been working all day). Nives Apartments are in a spectacular location in the heart of the old town of Dubrovnik. Great rooms for a decent price and all sorts of extras such as optional pick up from the airport. We left something behind in one of the rooms and the manager forwarded it to us in our address in Australia at no extra cost. Fantastic service from professional people.

Met at the airport by Nives driver, handed over to her son at the city gate and escorted directly to the apartment - excellent service and he even carried my girlfriend's bags! Apartment was in a brilliant location in the centre of the Old Town (three flights up but whoever found a penthouse on the ground floor?) and had everything we needed for our stay. Nives and her apartments were a great find (thank you Trip Advisor!). The apartments are clean and well equipped in the centre of the old town, each has its own character and homely touches. They are centrally situated, very close to restaurants and shops. The harbour and beach are very close also. Nives herself makes the holiday - she gives good advice on how to make the best of your holiday - where to go and what to see. Dubrovnik is a wonderful destination and the people are lovely.

We are a family with two young children who arrived in Dubrovnik only to find ourselves in hospital with our 2 year old less than 24 hours later. Nives (the owner) was absolutely wonderful to us and went above and beyond in her assistance to us and our children, even taking us to the hospital and interpreting. The apartment is traditional, bright and right in the centre of the Old Town with easy access to everything, the ferries, restaurants and The Stradun. I stayed in Dubrovnik for one week in the end of april . I enjoyed my week very much , mainly because Nives , the owner of the appartment I have rented was so friendly and efficient . The appartment is located in the old town , everything was near , I needed bread , the bakery was just around the corner , a very friendly internet cafe was just a couple of streets away . We have just come back from a great 8 days in Croatia. Dubrovnik is great and we definitely recommend a walk of the City walls and going in May when there is just the right amount of life. Do get the local ferry across to the nearby island to relax and swim in the afternoon. There is also a great bar through the City walls with a view of sunset over the sea. Nives is a great set up. My wife and I spent two weeks in Dubrovnik, and we plan on going back. The experience was absolutely postive. The people all speak English and are very kind considering all the tourists that visit them.
