Mike Ditka Resorts Runaway Beach Club

Last time we went to Florida (2 years ago), we stayed at the value hotels in Disney. This year we decided to try a condo style, like Runaway Beach. Definitely no regrets! Not only was it cheaper, but the hotel was so much nicer. We absolutely loved our condo style hotel. We had the one bedroom, but it had 2 queen sofas in the living room. Our place felt like home. I have stayed in Florida over a dozen times. Runaway Beach Club was, by far, the best hotel we have ever stayed at. We got a 2-bedroom room with a loft. The kids absolutely loved the loft! It had a playstation as well as an air hockey/fooseball table. It came in handy on one day when it rained for a few hours. The kids had so much fun in there. In addition, the staff went out of their way several times to make us more comfortable. That extra mile mattered a great deal to my wife and me. We will be coming here every time from now on!

The Runaway Beach Club exceeded our expectations. My husband & I stayed in their 2 bedroom / 2 bath & loved everything about it. The unit was incredibly clean, beautifuly decorated & so very comfortable. The resort reminded me of a colorful little village, peaceful & quite. We've stayed at many different resorts in the Orlando area & the Runaway Beach Club has earned its way to #1 on our list. We highly recommend this resort if your looking for all the comforts of home. Just loved it !!!!

Great location. Very new, quiet, and clean rooms. Pillow top mattresses, great pillows, and very soft towels. No complaints whatsoever. Never slept so good. Above our expectations for the price (had a "good buy" price from Travelocity-restricted re cancellations). Would stay here again and request a room with a patio.

I just want to start off by saying the staff at this resort were great. Gentlemen named Eric checked us in, and was very pleasant and helpful. He wrote out directions for us so we could find our way to disney in the morning, and also recommended charlies steak house for a nice dinner. Also about 45 minutes after we checked in we got a call asking if our room was satisfactory and if we had any further questions or concerns feel free to call the front desk(that is open 24 hours) and someone will assist us. My family (husband, father-in-law, mother-in-law, sister-in-law and niece) stayed here from Febraury 24th through the 28th. We couldn't find anything to complain about. We stayed in a 3 bdrm/3 bath on the second floor. It was tastefully decorated and the kitchen was fully stocked with all the dishes/utensils you could possibly need. The lower level units appeared to have a garage and a walkout patio. Although it is located right off a couple main highways, it was so peaceful and quiet. I stayed at this hotel while at a conference, and also received feedback from many of the others staying at the conference. This place got a big thumbs up! The rooms are more like apartments, nicely decorated, and seem well maintained for the most part. I stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit. The living room and each bedroom had a TV, and the main TV in the living room also had a DVD player. Located on 535, just about ten minutes drive from all disney park entrances (same amount of time as if staying on a disney property). We stayed for seven nights, in a two bedroom, second level unit. The pool is being completely renovated with a bar and food area being added. Only negative feedback to the management was that we were not informed of this prior to our booking. This place is so nice, the rooms are very clean and well appointed. It is so relaxing having a view of the lake from the bedroom. This place is going to be packed once people find out about it, it is a great place to stay. Another great thing is that it is very centrally located, its about 5 minutes from all the major attractions. I would reccomend Runaway Beach Club to everyone I know!

I surprised my husband with a little getaway for his Birthday to the Runaway, but we both were surprised at the level of service they provided. We stayed in a one bedroom condo with a private patio (by far the cleanest room we have ever stayed in). With the plush landscaping and beach theme in the room, we really felt like we were on the beach. They also had great ammenities.
