I can highly recommend this place after staying for 5 nights in Sept. 2005 - two of us booked an apartment for £180 self catering - we were given a huge apartment with 7 beds in it, clean modern kitchen area, large lounge area and full bathroom. The apartment was cleaned three times while we were there, and clean towels every other day.
It is located on the eastern side of the resort - which is furthest from the airport luckily, so the airplane noise was not a problem at all - the main area of the resort has more noise, even at night the planes are taking off.
There are plenty of places to eat, shop and drink within a few minutes walk. The beach in front of the hotel is excellent - very clean and suitable for families. There are sunbeds for only 4euros a day on the beach, but they fill up quickly.
would definitely stay here again, it is great value, and is now a 3* hotel rather than 2* as stated on some sites. They have a website which has photos of the rooms etc.

We had a great holiday at Hotel Brasilia in may 2006, and we will go there again in april 2008.
I can only agree with the first writer, also in the *-rating. In our experience it should be at least 3 stars.
The reason for "only" 9 out of 10 in the overall rating is because of the less interesting food (dinner) in the hotels own restaurant. But on the other hand they gave us brandnew madrasses for both beds, as one of them turned out to be very used...
We also found several places to dance nearby - including at the hotel, which had nice live music - and they honored our dancing with playing many requests. ;-)
