Kind Villa Bintang Resort

We arrived at Kind Villa Bintang with mixed expectations. Partially because of the great reviews at tripadvisor, partially because we didn't want to expect too much after an unhappy experience with our previous stay at Seminyak. Overall I would say that this hotel exceeded our expectations, it was one of the cheapest bookable online property we could find in Nusa Dua, yet it provided great service and clean rooms. Just returned from 3 night family package at Kind Villa Bintang at Nusa Dua. What a lovely small hotel (compared to the other giants along the beachfront at Nusa Dua!). Upgraded to 2 Deluxe Rooms as one wasn't quite ready, which didn't bother us. Huge rooms, hotel only 3 years old so everything is very modern and spotlessly clean. Lovely pool with only a footpath separating you from the beach and water sports right at the front. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Bintang. We found the location to be excellent. Tanjung Benoa is not as crowded and hectic as the Kuta/Legian areas, so it's much more relaxed when wandering the streets. There is a great choice of restaurants in the area, from really cheap to expensive. We enjoyed every restaurant we tried and there were still so many we didn't get to! Just came back from a 5 days 4 nights trip from Kind Villa Bintang, Bali. We had a great experience there during our stay. The pros: - Staffs were great!! They were all very friendly, polite, helpful, attentive and smilely...Wayan, the hotel driver, was good. Recommend to look for him during your stay to know more abt Bali - Nusa Dua. Kinds Villa Bintang is a great value in Nusa Dua. You basically get what you pay for. There are many 5 star resorts in Nusa Dua (its been developed kind of like Cancun in Mexico), and so to find a hotel like Kinds Villa Bintang for about USD70 per night is a terrific value for the area. I booked a reservation online through the hotel website a few days prior to checking in. When we arrived to the hotel however the front desk seemed to have no record of the booking or any idea what the package included that I had picked off of the website. If you make a reservation over the internet be sure to print off a copy from your email. Our room was clean and large, but there is no ocean view from the room as the webasite said. Staying at Kind Villa Bintang was a memorable experience for both me and my wife Gouri. We found hotel almost as shown on the hotel website. Almost because, we were expecting small cottages whereas it actually is devided in small 2 storied buildings having about 20 rooms in each. Rooms are very spacious and well maintained. This was a perfect place for me. I enjoyed the fact it only had 54 rooms so it was not as impersonal as the larger hotels. All the staff were great, very friendly, helpful & informative. The ambience in the dining area by the pool of a morning was very relaxing because of the sounds of the Balinese music. The buffet breakfast was delicious with a choice of Balinese foods as well as more traditional breakfast foods. Kind Villa Bintang Resort & Spa live up to its name. =) Hotel personnel are Kind (especially Romeo in the Pool Bar area), and it is stellar (Bintang means Star) in all other aspects. We booked for a deluxe room and got upgraded to an executive suite (Honeymooners - you would want this. It has a lovely jacuzzi!) The hotel is well-maintained. We spent 10 wonderful nights at Kind Villa Bintang. It represents outstanding value for money. It is by no means the biggest, flashiest or modern hotel in Nusa Dua ... and thank God for that! What the hotel does offer is the perfect balance of Balinese culture and modern ammenities. The rooms are very comfortable with nice cold air conditioning, bar fridge, satellite TV, phone, shower.
